Definitely THE place to be Halloween season. This ain’t just a haunted house, it is an event. Stayed for over three hours enjoying everything. The tickets aren’t cheap, but they’re worth it (and the food is cheap!). We didn’t realize pre-purchasing tickets was important and they were sold out the night we wanted to go. Luckily 150 tickets for walk up customers are reserved. It being the weekend before Halloween we decided to take the chance even though we live over an hour away. We showed up 45 minutes before opening and were in the gates by 715p for $40 each. Easy peasy but I won’t leave it to chance like that again. Be prepared for metal detectors and a semi thorough search. We couldn’t even bring water bottles in. There are four separate buildings to explore and each was great, they started us out with the best though (Chaos House), and things got more chill from there. It took us almost a half hour just to get through one house! Just rooms upon rooms upon rooms of terror. Time, artistry, history, and some great actors make it truly special. I won’t go into detail too much or I’d never stop typing (I’m all about horrific Halloween), but the gore was goring. A lot of the set up is real life. These are real dilapidated buildings, nothing fake about them, the vibes are immaculate. The webs, filth, crumbling plaster, rust etc is all 100% real. I love this place. Bringing it over the top thematically are the actors, dancers, fire handlers, animatronics, and music keeping everyone entertained while in line or wandering between buildings. You will never be bored. Also, the food was shockingly cheap. We spent like $15 on dinner for two! Crazy. This is 100% worth the drive and the money if you’re into spooky season 👻

We've been to Utah and back to star idaho this month to get our scare on.... and that dang covid has caused haunted attractions to be not as good as normal.... but not haunted Mansions of Albion. I brought fresh meat tonight and they never get scared in attractions.... but you guys got them tonight!!! Way to go! Not only that but you guys were honest about lower numbers of actors and you still brought it! Thank you for taking your business seriously! Looking forward to coming back next year. And my friends will be bringing new meat next year! Only thing you could improve is keeping the 6ft distance between groups while in line.

I love this place ! Entertainment is provided while in wait lines and they have hot chocolate and mini donuts for purchasing, fire barrels to keep you warm and props and dressed characters that would love to get a picture with you. I wouldn't say this place is super scary but you'll definitely jump a few times or feel the suspense. Prices have definitely went up since i was younger but its still worth it. Get some friends and go !

I first went to this attraction 10 years ago. 10 years ago It was really spooky and the old nostalgia of the buildings really added to the scare. Outside it was calm, very dark, with some fire areas to warm up. You could hear scares and screams far off in the mansions and it was chilling and exciting. All the stars in the sky could be seen and the atmosphere outside was very eerie and spooky, seeing all the old buildings and their walkways surrounding you added to the experience even more.....BUT now in 2022 it is more like a Halloween nightclub for teenagers. There is a performance area outside in the middle of everything where there was lots of lights flashing, loud music playing (regular music, not Halloween music), people dancing, cheerleading performances, one guy singing rap songs and etc. They have a carnival food stand that's also lit up in the middle of all of the buildings. It really took away all of the spookiness of the old nostalgia of everything. The creepiness of being out in the dark surrounded by old haunted buildings is gone. They have ruined the best parts of it. They have a beautiful old theatre that, 10 years ago, seemed mostly intact and we walked around it and it was old and spooky. They now have torn down a lot of the seating area, put the old wooden seats into piles and moved other seats along the pathways they made and we wind through the theatre with cliche Halloween props everywhere.

There is also graffiti overkill everywhere. Takes away from the experience. It looks purposeful and not like vagabonds did it.

In the haunted houses, it's mostly just walking through props. Lots of it without any real person/actor. Though I'm not sure that more actors would have helped at all. They had some employees that were good at scaring and giving you the creeps, but a couple of them think that walking up to you, very noticeably and then screaming bloody murder directly into your eardrum is somehow scary. It's not.

We made it through three of the four attractions before deciding that we were ready to get out of there. It's a tacky, cliche Halloween attraction. Not worth waiting in those LOOONG lines for.

I miss the way it was 10 years ago. We won't...

Oh my goodness, I came here just barely and to say that I was absolutely BLOWN AWAY would be a massive understatement. This place is extremely impressive, especially for its location in the middle of nowhere Idaho. In saying that, even if it was in a bigger population area, it would probably be the best anywhere nearby. Between everything, this is probably the best haunted house I have EVER done and I have done Fear Factory, Nightmare on 13th, Dead City, Haunted Forest, Haunted Circus, and Black Island Farms. First of all, you HAVE TO go to the ghost tours they do all year around. They do haunted ghost tours where you walk through all the buildings, just minus the actors. Second, it is SO LONG, you walk through four entire buildings. Each of these buildings are about the same length as most individual haunted houses would be. We got there at 10 PM and did not leave until about 1 AM. Absolutely INSANE! I also was also blown away by how quick the lines went for how busy it was. The employees were some of the friendliest I’ve seen anywhere. They actually made an effort to talk to our group. Not only are the haunts long, they are genuinely scary. I think part of that is because of location, but boy do those actors work their butt off. Also, it was awesome how they had people entertaining those in line, including fire dancers and music. That’s right, FIRE DANCERS that were amazing. I was absolutely floored by this place and it is no wonder why it is so popular. It was so worth doing and I would probably do it again. The only thing I would warn you about is to only bring the brave kids here if you are going to bring kids. It was even a bit much for me at times and I love this kind of thing. If you really want to come, I would do the haunted ghost tours to get a taste of what it’s like. If you enjoy it, come back for the full haunted house experience! Also, make sure to bring warm clothes when you come, it gets very chilly up there. Other than that, if you are looking for a good scare, I highly recommend this place. I would even go as far as to say that this place is worth a long drive if you enjoy this...

We were very disappointed last year and even more so this year. We have been going here for years and we've always loved it but over the last couple of years it's changed and not for the better sadly. Since they combined the two houses it hasn't been the same. It seems super rushed (like they just want you to hurry up and get out), alot of the room's are really cluttered but with nothing really creepy or scary in them and it's nowhere near as scary or fun as it used to be. There are also way less actor's as a large majority of the room's were empty with no actor's in them, only some random props. When we went through the theater there were two actor's arguing with each other right out in the open instead of doing their jobs and scaring people or even acknowledging we were there. Also, every single one of the porta pottys were absolutely disgusting and full to the top!! I've seen alot of other comments about other people's bad experiences this year and had really hoped they were just exaggerations but sadly I have to agree with most of them. I also noticed the way the owners have responded to the bad reviews. Their responses are very short and cold as if they really don't care. Like a "oh well" type attitude which is also upsetting to customers who spend hard earned money to go there just to be basically blown off when someone complains. Please separate the house's back into 3 and hire more actor's. We drive a long way every year just to come to the Haunted Mansions of Albion but it's not worth the time and money we spend to make the trip if it's going to continue to be this way. If we see bad reviews again next year like we saw this year, we won't be going back. That might not mean anything to the owners, but after reading all those other reviews, eventually more and more people are going to do the same and it's going to add up. Word of mouth and reviews reach way more people than most realize. Please bring The Haunted Mansions of Albion back to the way...
