You've heard the phrase, "diamond in the rough"? Well Piggy Sue is a stellar example of a great eatery in an unexpected location.
We got there just before noon, were 2nd in line to order. Rustic outdoor picnic seating with tree-shaded areas and big umbrellas on tables. Their combinations include brisket, sausage, pulled pork and ribs. The side dishes include potato salad, cowboy beans and cole slaw. Standard soft drinks, bottled water available.
My brisket was awesome, good and meaty with a nice fatty end for 'gotta have some' flavor. Cole slaw and beans were also great.
Albion is its own destination. Piggy Sue's makes lunch an added benefit. Burgers and dogs...
Read moreIt's about 12 miles out of the way if you're traveling on I-84, and it is absolutely worth it. Albion is a cute little "ghost" town in the middle of nowhere, Some of the best BBQ I've ever had in my life. The hog sauce goes great on any meat or fries. The BBQ sauce and meats have the perfect amount of smokiness in their flavor, and the devil's spit sauce has great flavor with a kick that is perfect for the flavor but not at all overwhelming. They have a very unique and broad menu, and I can't wait to come again and try their burgers. I will probably make it a point to stop here every time I'm passing through during open hours...

Cowboy beans a lil spicy I really loved them, hubby not so much. They have 1 mild & good bbq sauce, crispy tots, fries were eh, they were outta ribs : ( boo hoo... Wonderful staff@food truck w/cute grounds, good 4 kids of all ages to play outdoors! They have burgers. Apple crisp w/homemade ice cream truly delightful! Had to wrestle my hubby from running back to order another 1, even our son liked it. We all left...
