Kiski Park Plaza — Local services in Allegheny Township

Kiski Park Plaza was one of the first strip shopping centers in Allegheny Township, Westmoreland County (Leechburg, PA). It was developed circa 1968 near the intersection of PA Routes 56 and 356, an area colloquially known as Weinel's Crossroad. The plaza is anchored by national retailers, Dollar General and NAPA Auto Parts, while smaller regional and local businesses occupy the remaining space. Nice little plaza with pretty specific businesses. The coffee shop at the front of the lot, Cocos, is worth trying. The garden center is FANTASTIC. The daycare/preschool has a good program and a solid reputation. Nappa, Dollar General, a physical therapist, and a hair salon are also located here. Sidewalks are kept clean, and flower boxes seem to be kept pretty nice for seasonal decoration. Plenty of parking with two entrances/exits...
