Let me tell you! Went in for groceries and was surprised to see the deli has a subway like restaurant. The subs are huge! So delicious, the bread was thick, hearty and fresh.The guy running the place,had me try the chimmi churi sauce, I have a new favorite. What a nice dude too. I had the cheesy broccoli soup❤️so damn good! The cheesy garlic bread,the size of a pizza! The best part of all of this is....we thought he rang us up wrong, he didn't! Everything was so reasonably priced and large portions. We took home leftovers! So yes, I highly recommend this grocery store/restaurant! Also all the employees were friendly and helpful....

I came in for baby carrots to put in vegetable soup I was making. I checked their ad before I came & looked for blueberries, which stated they were 2 for $5.00; but gave no size. What they had were 6-oz containers, only; I wasn't going to pay that for only 12 ozs, so they stayed in the cooler!! If you don't know prices in bigger stores, you will overpay on some items, compared to larger stores. Spent a little time browsing and found a 6-pack of Diet Rite Cola for $4.99! We spend half our year at Woodhaven Lakes, near Amboy...I feel it my responsibility to support local businesses. The owners and staff are lovely people. The prices reasonable, unlike most of the grocery stores near other resorts. Meat is priced as high as anywhere else.Overall I give Amboy Food and Liquors a 5 out of 5.
