After our episode, A Faye called us, a very kind a concerned woman. They reimbursed us our delivery charge and said they hoped we would give them another chance. We will see....like I said there's no one in the area that delivers or picks up furniture. At least they were concerned. Due, to her I've upped the stars to 3.
Well.....we bought a love seat, couch, chest of drawers, and a stool from them over 2000.00. When the supervisor, Mark, came he argued about bringing the couch in....obviously the one I cut in half came in whole!!! Then Mark took out the old chest of drawers, alone! Not asking his younger helper to help.... important point ! He scratched our 1 year old 3800.00 tongue and groove laminated flooring 1 ft Ă 2 ft scratches. Never apologized. Didn't acknowledge it, till I pointed it out!! When asked why he felt no remorse he merely said " apology". We took pictures. We called slumberland talked to a Brock. My son was upset.....of course. The lack a daisy attitudes!! For 1. He used colorful adjectives to explain the situation. BROCK HUNG UP ON HIM!!! STATING HE WAS SWEARING AT HIM!!! NO! I was listening there was NO swearing at him. His tender ego, and lack of professionalism made him hang up on my son. Insult to injury !! No receipt, just a look at the supposed receipt on Marks phone, the would be supervisor. All in all......if another company comes into this area...slumberland will loose. Again, not great Bob. I'd go somewhere else if I were you. If you can!!!!!! We found out the delivery guys are related, a family. I can't state enough, the professionalism of this store is pathetic.

I've since gone back...furniture is hiked up at least 20% since last year. Quality lower. I'm purchasing from th em. Out of necessity. No one else delivers in this area or removes furniture. Will revise if out come is different. Though they charge for individual pieces, now and delivery.

Donât waste your time buying anything here at a higher price because they donât stand behind it. My elderly parent bought a corner hutch here and the hinge on one of the doors literally broke in half. The metal broke in half. I mean how cheap does it half to be to break in half and believe me my elderly parents are not like crazy feral children slamming the door over and over. They have probably opened the door three time since they bought the hutch. The quality however is the least of the problems behind this store. My parents have been very sweet and patient with the store while they gave them time to rectify this hinge on a $1200 hutch. However not only is the quality of the product from this stores products been disappointing but the service even worse after months of literally trying to just get this hinge replace on a $1200 one year old hutch. I feel like they have taken advantage of the fact that my parents are old and of the generation that just accepts situations. Pretty crappy. Do not waste your money on any of their poorly made over priced items that this store has made it perfectly clear they do not stand behind.    Read moreIf I could give a -5, I would. Customer Service worse than anything experienced at a big box store!!! I ordered a new chair in September. I understood there would be a delay in the order due to COVID. However, I was assured they would keep me up-to-date on the status. INSTEAD, I had to keep calling for the status, which kept being pushed out. 5 months later I get the call it should be in. I requested they call before delivery so I could move some things to make it easier. When they arrived, the sole driver said it was just supposed to drop it off. When I said it was supposed to be set up, he shrugged and said his paperwork said just doorstep delivery. When I called, it was like pulling teeth to find out I was correct and had PAID to have it delivered and set up. Rather than attempting any type of customer service I was just offered to have the delivery fee refunded. From a small town store I would have expected them to say something more like "We'll have someone out there shortly to set it up for you and we will be refunding the fee to make up for the delays and all of the problems." From now on, I'll shop at the big box stores, there I expect to be treated...
