This place is not safe. It's beyond crowded, it wouldn't meet code. It's not structurally safe for a building to have THAT MUCH furniture stacked floor to ceiling on the second and third floors. I assume it's packed on the third floor, can't actually go up there. The owners are kind, but expect ridiculous prices. I would never pay anything close to the prices on their items. They don't haggle, either. Honestly, it's more of a hoarder situation and it's sad. The stuff deserves a better home than shoved in nasty, dark piles for 30+ years. I guess they can afford to keep up this farce because in a college town, you get people from out of town who think the insane prices are a steal? Locals are way waaaaay better off going to the Restore or bidding on Hibid. I hope the building doesn't collapse on them. Or the amazing treasures they can't...

My favorite place to go when my soul needs restoration. It's whimsical and magical and usually smells like the earth after a rain. I've bought succulents and trees and flowers here. The range of succulents is astounding and the prices are very affordable! The place is huge. They have a whole wall piled with hundreds of old, unique flower pots. I've found heart shaped pots, sunset colored pots, beautiful embossed pots, neutral pots... there are so many possibilities for creating your own pot of succulents. They also sell potting soil for cheap and will measure out how much you need for the plants you're buying. I haven't looked much in the antiques section because the plants are just so wonderful, but there are SO many beautiful antiques if you're into that! The owners are absolutely lovely people. I'm glad that places like this are...

I’m filled with emotion! Joanie, (I hope I spelled your name correctly), you reached through the telephone lines from Iowa to Maryland and touched my heart ♥️ soothed my worries, dried my tears and embraced everything necessary with your eloquent understanding of grief and personal loss regardless of distance.

The bouquet you designed for a particularly special family members’ wake on November 6th, 2021 was absolutely stunning. The colors were perfect, the flowers you selected were exquisitely beautiful and without question, designed with Love ~

I now know why my stepson, Curt Mann, not just recommended Ames Greenhouse Floral, he insisted y’all were the only folks I needed to speak with about flowers for his Momma and my dear sweet friend, Julie Mann.

Blessings need no introduction ~ 🕊

My Sincere Thanks, Freda Mann Bel...

Yes, the isles are narrow but only because there are so many plants and antiques! Just look where you’re going and you’ll be fine. Yes, some prices are a little higher than big chain companies. I’d much rather support a local business. Plus, I’ve never seen so many plants before! There were succulents, cacti, and other plants I’ve never seen in another store let alone in person ever. Very unique stuff. I got a great deal on a beautiful snake plant that I would’ve had to order off amazon because nobody else carries them. The owner even centered the plant for me without asking. I also purchased a couple beautiful old books for $1 each, and a unique plant holder for $10. Honestly, I’m not sure why some people Aileen to be so critical of this place. I can’t wait to go back!

It maybe not a well organized antique store, since the place is not quite big enough for so many things and the owners are not that young to move those things easily. But it’s definitely a great place to get plants especially succulents. I bought from them several times, the owners put their hearts to those plants, their plants are pretty and healthy. The best of all was they always being very friendly on teaching me how to take care of each plant. They also helped me planting the plants into my personal planters which was really nice.

Kinda cool, but this place needs new ownership. Obvious fire hazards, too much weight on the upper floor (felt the floor warp as I walked thru the building and Im only 150 lbs) and so overpriced its entertaining. Asked about a pack of canvases (canvas's? Canvi?) That was priced at $35 for a pack of 7. Same exact ones cost $17.99 at hobby lobby. Wish I took a pic tbqh. The lady was nice though. And I think she realizes how screwy everything is but doesnt have the heart or is too tired to tell the owner. This place is strange.
