Dangerous place to climb. My girlfriend recently got into this sport, and was super excited to find a gym close to home. Sadly I've come to realize this place is not a good place for beginners.
The prices are decent, especially with their first time package. But thats where the deal ends. She received a 15 minute introduction to the gym, but was given no real instruction, nor was she offered any kind of class for beginners.
They require you to book time online for covid, yet theres always at least 20+ people in there coming at all times. Today 5/2 she was again attempting to try one of their on your own climbing walls. About 20 minutes in some girls come in with a toddler and let the kid run around. Now my girlfriend is inexperienced in climbing, and learning on her own is tough, having the fear of landing on a child whos running around unsupervised was enough to erode her confidence.
We wont be returning here again. Id rather take her out to the gyms in lakewood and cleveland that are serious about helping people get into this sport and learning to climb with safety...

The route setting is stiff, but is pretty accurate to what you'll find outdoors. Some recent feedback has clearly been taken to heart, as they're setting more easy warm-up routes, making it a great place for beginners to learn. Further, there are plenty of auto-belay stations so someone can show up with no skills and still climb all day! The gym also has yoga (Maita is my favorite instructor), gear for purchase, and lots of climbing courses! Highly...
Read moreGreat for beginners or experts. $20 gets you in for your first time and let's you come back one more time for free. Tons of topropes and autobelays, decent bouldering and lead climbing, a tension board and hangboards. Really friendly staff. They have a big aqaurium tank and they have named all their fish in there and put up signs saying who is who. Free pizza on the first Wed of every month. Blacklight climbing the last Sat of every month. Decent selection of climbing gear for sale. They have a giant "route graveyard" where all their old route tags go when they reset. Their route names are really funny and random, like "Zucchini Bread with...
