UMass Store — Local services in Amherst

My daughter attends UMass and whenever we're on campus, we have to do a little shopping here. They have so many types of clothing with the UMass logo. Something for everyone in the family. In addition the Campus Center Store has just about everything you could want or need, from tablets to over the counter medication. Great place to get gifts and toys. Pretty good selection of books as well. It's very handy for UMass hotel guests in case they need anything. Forgot your toothbrush and deodorant? They have it. Of course you're going to pay more for it but the convenience can be worth it. Nice to know my college student has a place she can go to on campus to get most anything she needs....just in case she doesn't feel like going to...

Went to buy a wedding card for a couple of color and sadly, I found that on all FOUR racks of cards, for EVERY category, EVERY single human being shown, whether a photograph or a drawing or cartoon, are WHITE! BOO! HISS! How about a little diversity for your customers. For shame that you would have to be told and not even have an idea that this is happening. Please get a clue, I will NOT be buying...

I like the store, but I am concerned about the way the employee asked the gentleman "where you're working" as he was paying for the merchandise. I have heard similar stories from other employees, but this is my first time...
