We visited 2025.08.12 and bought three dozen oysters and 2 lb of shrimp. The shrimp were small but fine. However the oysters were subpar. They don't allow refunds so we ended up with nearly two dozen inedible oysters. They were really milky and most of them had almost no brine. The lack of brine generally means they have been out of the water too long. But they were also really milky which means they were spawning. We basically wasted 60 bucks on oysters. My stepfather and I were reminiscing about why the old adage that says you don't eat oysters unless the month has an R in its name. The reason for this is because the oyster spawn during the summer and the flavor and texture is unpleasant. We're all hoping that we're right about that and not going to get sick. I feel like we should have been warned by the vendor.

I am impressed by this establishment and its staff. They demonstrate a strong work ethic to provide the finest and freshest seafood at competitive prices, making it accessible for customers to purchase and enjoy. Additionally, they offer ice to complement your seafood selection. The staff are wonderful individuals who consistently exceed expectations. We regularly travel from Federal Way multiple times a month during the summer to visit them for exceptional seafood.

How about some smile? You don't have to be yelling at people all the time. I barely had a time to look at what's on the menu. I don't care about the quality of the food- simply unprofessional. Update: my family was around here and got medium size oysters. Came back home and found out more than half of the oysters were definitely not "medium". They definitely mixed up smalls and mediums. Bunch of liars

Update on rating: Today when I called for pricing, the guy (male) had a slight attitude in telling me the prices. Got to be consistent with providing good customer service at all times. Plus, the price here is 99¢ more than the Shrimp Shack. That's where we ended up going.

The (female) employees were nice and gave us a little extra pieces of shrimp. I can't believe the house has been the same (no renovation whatsoever) since I was a young girl and this was back more than 30 yrs. ago. The shack has also remained the same, but with better check out equipment. The line can vary daily. We went past the lunch hour on a Saturday and we only waited a minute or so. The next day (Sunday, 8/30/20) - there was a few people in front of us and waited close to 3 minutes.

The parking lot is not big; up to 6 cars (depending on size of vehicle). There's no marked parking for people with a disability. No public restroom, mask is required and only up to 3 people at a time inside the shack. Surprisingly, the shack doesn't have an overwhelming...

For the longest time I could not figure out why there would always be a long random line outside of their business (/house), until I pulled over for a moment the other day in their lot.

There were only 3 men working the day I went in; they were so kind to my family and I; so I definitely got the family-friendly vibe, while still very professional.

They keep everything neat, tidy, and clean. They have a great selection of seafood, along with dips, sauces, and soups to go with it.

It's small; it's local. They seem to be going strong so it's safe to say it's probably because of their good report, strong, healthy rapport they have within the community.

The only complaint I would have is buying the pounds of shrimp... Unless you eat shell and shrimp legs, you really don't get...
