Batteries. Something we often take for granted until it's not there, or something goes wrong. This is the place to go to get a battery, large or small -- from those little metal discs for digital watches, to those mega-heavy boxes for boats. Plus vehicle batteries of all sorts. I have visited here many times, mainly to transfer flashlights from the Not-Working to Working category. Sometimes there is a wait, but that's okay; if you are in a hurry, call ahead. Read moreKnowledgeable young man, son of the owner, had a battery for my older cell phone, quickly and easily replaced it, gave me helpful information about getting it charged up appropriately. He had helped my son several weeks earlier with a replacement battery for his cell phone. The batteries keep their charges and the phones work very well. Watch and clock (and other types of) batteries are also available. Hours are Monday through Saturday. Read moreThey spent time listening to what I wanted to do then took the time to explain what I needed. They had the sale made then offered to attempt forcing a charge on my batteries to try to fix them. It worked and they said no charge. I tipped well anyway, time and electricity aren't free. Prices on their batteries I was going to buy were lower than anywhere else in town. I'd give them more than 5 stars if possible. I'll be going back for all of my battery needs....
