K-STARS NAILS — Local services in Anderson

Haven't lived in Indiana in over 3yrs and used to be a regular. Came here for the first time after moving since I'm visiting the city and away from my home nail salon, only to get quite disappointed and dissatisfied highly with the poor quality of service and professionalism. Had a gel mani and Pedi done - at least the Pedi was decent but still terrible, after I told them my light calluses I had were still quite rough even after she went over them LIGHTLY twice in a hurry with lack of attentiveness. Telling Cindy I've had my Pedi done at other salons who have been able to smooth the calluses down to my satisfaction but Cindy then rebuttals my complaint that if the tech had did it further I'd bleed. Which wouldn't have been the case if the calluses weren't filed well with attentive care.

Even worse my nails... Omgosh the worst manicure in natural nails I've ever had, even by Cindy's tech. This tech was so careless- cut my cuticle causing bleeding on one nail. The tech could've waited to stop the bleeding before continuing but was in a rush still that she kept doing my nails despite the continued bleeding to have blood on my finished nails, around the edges, and under my nails which still bleed an hr after I left. I complained too about the unsatisfied service to Cindy. Explained my dissatisfaction and shouldn't had have to pay full price for the mani service. Asked since the clear dissatisfaction would she at least take a few dollars off like $5 for a $35? Instead she was being hungry and said she couldn't give me a discount and sometimes "accidents happen". Pretty much that was the excuse she used to refuse even a few dollars off of service. That's ok bc I didn't leave a tip bc it was undeserved rightfully so. I'll never go and will never recommend anyone to use any services here as there seems to be no care for the quality of service they give. These are my nails after 4 whole weeks. They are not chipped or broken and don’t even look that excessively grown out, at least for me since I’m not too picky they are still wearable. I came here to get my gel nails redone after getting them done at a place in Carmel and they had a bunch of chips and cracks after only two weeks. Needless to say, I was very impressed with this place. I came in with one nail almost completely broken off and my tech repaired it and strengthened it, I’ve had no problems with it since. I called and wanted a specific color and they had it. I was very grateful as these were my engagement nails, and they looked great. My only complaint is I did have to wait about 20-30 minutes after my appointment time to get started but they were very busy. I thought I’d give a review because this place really deserves...

I just left feeling fantastic! It had been so long since I'd had my nails professionally done—nearly ten years—so I was really out of my comfort zone. The nail technician, Sherry (I believe that was her name!) was absolutely amazing. She could tell I was a bit nervous and was so patient and kind, explaining all the different options to me. She took the time to get to know me a little bit, which made the whole experience feel so much more personal and relaxing. I can't say enough about how comfortable she made me feel.

​While nail prices have certainly gone up, the 20% off promotion made it more than worth it for the quality of the service and the care I received. It was an experience I had been longing for, and it exceeded my expectations. I'm already planning my next visit and can't wait to try a more...
