That Furniture Store — Local services in Anderson

After today I’ll never step into this store again. We purchased a few sofas but one sectional didn’t end up working for us. I ended up coming back to the store and found something that would work for our family. When I sat down with the owner to discuss upgrading the sofa thing turned for the worst. I explained to the owner that the sectional had some wear and a loose armrest so I was wanting to order it in new. He explained that I shouldn’t order the sofa because they were on backorder and that the sofa on the floor was only out there for 2 weeks to get that one. He took the time to call the employee that helped me and asked her about the condition of the sectional. Which she told him there was nothing wrong with the sectional. I tried asking the owner to come walk out there with me so I could point out the defects but he chose not to. Come to find out that the employee that assisted me was his wife. At this point he took it as if I was calling his wife a lair. Instead of coming out with me to look at the section he became angry with me and said he trusts what his wife told him and doesn’t need to go out there. This is why you don’t mix business with family. You shouldn’t treat customers like garbage. It would have taken the owner 5 mins to come look at the sectional with me so I could point out the defects but I guess customer service is not his number one priority. Save your money and go...

This is the best furniture store around. My husband and I completely furnished our living room, dining room and master bedroom for our new home from here. The quality seems wonderful. Very helpful staff and delivery guys were great. The delivery was on time and they were very careful with the furniture and bringing in they were careful not to hit walls or my door frames. Im not easily impressed and have high expectations with customer service. That Furniture Store exceeded my expectations and impressed me. We visited this store in Anderson, SC and found a couch set we loved. The staff went above and beyond for us. We could have taken home that day but did not have a way to transport. One of their employees had to make a run to Atlanta, Georgia and offered to bring it down on their way. Their only request was we had to meet them off I-285. I would buy from them again and every time I hear someone wanting new furniture I recommend That Furniture...
