Amazing little one scream movie theater!!! Been in business since the '30s, It's even in a cool little slice of Americana area of Anderson, Missouri. Price was amazing, even the food was amazingly priced. It's like jumping in the wayback machine! If you sit in the middle aisle, the seats in front of you are so far away. I couldn't even touch it with my foot stuck out, and I'm 5'11. So there's an amazing amount of leg room. The seats even rock (as in rocking chair). In fact, the only thing I can say I thought could be better was I wish the seats reclined like they do in some theaters these days. It would be especially nice with all that room between seats. But that's the only thing that I can say as a negative. If they have a movie I want to see I will never choose to go someplace else. And supporting a small business and the local community is no small part of that.

Classic old Town and very small town vibe! Due for remodeling, but it's interesting to see the history here too, .and at a reasonable price. There is ample room to move about in the center aisle seats, but with limited aisle lighting, so move cautiously. This is not anywhere near a high-dollar chain multiplex type theater complex experience, but it is however a pleasant option for a date night or some family time. Theater has popular movies rotating frequently. This is a classic single theater building located in "downtown" Anderson, MO. Simple consessions are available. Sound and screen are decent. Worth a stop for locals, or a flashback in time to when the theater was a bustling place to be. Parking is limited streetside, but adjacent small business parking lots are available. Shows are each evening on the weekends, (typically at 7pm).

I love this theater. I've been around Anderson for a couple of years and had no idea this theater was here. I found out about it and went to see Twisters. It was an amazing experience. I love that this place is family owned. Very nice staff and prices were very good. They don't try to rip you off on concessions. It's $11 for an XL popcorn and drink (which you get free refills on). I went on a Saturday night, and tickets were only $7 each. Love this place, and I will definitely be coming back with...
