Restaurant Depot — Local services in Andover

I to have been coming since the the first month of opening and visit every month. I've held off on the review because I've been hoping things would change. And I've come to the conclusion that its not going to. Its a hit or miss on items, so if you have a menu and rely on items for dishes, better to stick with a reliable service like sysco, u.s foods, gordon, ect... Dry goods you should be almost all set on, I've never left without the dry goods I went in for. Overall the cleanliness is ok, EXCEPT the bathroom!!!! Wow is that a horror show!! I don't have the time to go into full detail but its dirty, writing ALL over the walls, ( sharpies, carved). Toilet always clogged with paper, and ( sorry gross I know..) Human excrement 💩 ( and to be fair, this is only the mens room as ive never been in the ladies room to see if the situation was wide spread). The cashiers are another hit or miss...I've seen many come and go, and the ones that have stayed are nice and helpful. I've even come to know them by name. If you just make sure to keep bar codes faced out, and don't add a bunch of small stuff in the middle of a big load, this is one thing that can causes the slowdowns....but also some barecodes don't scan so it needs manager overide and that takes time. Lastly ( because ive already feel like I've written a book), the worse and most irritating thing I have issue with this place is asking the fork truck drivers for help...I swear you are asking for them to take care of a child for the next 18 years. Its ridiculous the attitude and childish behavior. Half the stuff you will ever need is 2-3 shelves high that require a fork truck.

I'm sure if a few things with management changed this place could be a joy to shop at.

I been there on 9/8/21 morning in Andover store. After making the payment I went the desk as didn't find few items (left to the exit). A black lady was eating there. It was around 9:10 am. I asker her that I was looking for Uncle Beans brown rice and didn't find it. Her answer was "If it's not there then we don't have it". I added I was looking for around 10 boxes frozen chicken tenders as well and didn't see those in shelf. Either they have anything back in stock or not? Without looking she said "No". I again politely asked either she can tell when I can expect those? Her answer was "Go to the frozen section, ask them". I politely said either I can ask her name? With that, she got agitated and became really load, stated shouting why I was asking her name. Another person came rushing asked what happened? She started almost screaming loudly, "This guy is asking my name". That time manager called me from back office and he tried to answer me. I couldn't believe the way I...

I shop here 4-5 times a week, averaging between 300-850 every trip. And this location has been getting worse. The regular register ladies are awesome and seem to be getting frustrated with some of these new workers. I was told today that I can’t pay by check because the name didn’t match the name on the depot card (the check being written from the corporate account I use every time I write a check here. I tried explaining that I write a check frequently here from the same check book. The front end worker told me I was lying and made me pull up my online banking info. Only to still not accept my check. I was unable to get my order. I was told “buddy it’s not your lucky day” by the new front end worker. On top of rude workers who have been stocking shelves recently. I don’t typically write reviews but if I spend thousands at a place weekly I shouldn’t be treated with such issues. I’m going to be finding ways to shop elsewhere but unfortunately some things I need to...
