Be Careful! Find out if they will guaranty or warrant their work first. You may be throwing good money away on trying to repair an old electronic piece of equipment. My first & maybe only experiece with Ag Express Electronics which may be totally atypical. I had a good many people recomend Ag Express Electronics to me as a good place to have the instrument panel out of a 7420 John Deere tractor repaired. I sent it to them, they supposedly repaired it (new LCD screen, new stepper motors, new lights, updates (whatever that is), resoldered all circuit board connections etc.). I got it back & tried it on the tractor. It did not work. I tried it in another 7420 with a good working instrument panel & it did not work. I tried the good instrument panel in the tractor that the bad instrument panel came out of & it worked fine so I knew definently that it was not a problem with the tractor. I explained this to them & sent it back & when I got it back it was no better than before. I sent it back a third time & now they say that there is nothing that they can do to fix it. I wish I had not spent any money on it with them in the first place & put that money toward the new one I had to buy from John Deere for $3,085. They would not...
Read moreI have a BaleTrak Pro Electronic Control Unit for my 2013 John Deere 459 silage baler. I'm only a small farmer and have 2117 bales on the counter. When I was baling the first part of September 2023 I could not get the monitor to turn on after at least 7 tries (it was acting up before this). I called my John Deere dealer and it was a good thing I was sitting down as they wanted $1423 for a refurbished unit with only a 6 month warranty if I installed it myself (if they installed it a 1 year warranty but a $400 service call). Which means it would be out of warranty when I use it next year. I happened to be picking up parts at Vetter Implement In Corydon IA and the service manager told me about Ag-Express. I ended up driving the monitor up to Des Moines on 18 September. They called me on 20 September and the unit was fixed. We were already in Des Moines so picked the monitor up. On 23 September installed the monitor in the tractor and the baler it powered up as it should. I would highly...
Read moreI have had many items repaired at Ag Express. Very knowledgeable staff on most everything. If they aren't, they will tell you but still try to help out. Very quick in most circumstances and reasonable. Also, located in a business park set off from the main road with their business name boldly on the building. The low star someone gave, hardly tried. Ag Express does not have that mentality of...
