Editing my review after a few less-than-stellar experiences. Still a good selection of cards here but the friendly, welcoming environment has been missing my last few visits. It took a while just for anyone to notice us after waiting patiently for the staff to finish with another customer. After standing at the case and going unnoticed in plain sight after 5 minutes I had to go to ask one of the two employees to see a card. I've never felt more like someone could care less if they had my business or not......

This store is still a little new, but they’re my first place I stop when I’m in Des Moines. The staff is incredible-very chatty, and happy to help you find anything. They’ve got a wide range of products-from high end wax to cheap .25 cent cards to dig through. They even have a box of cards that people can take for free! This is a great card shop if you like entitled frat boys looking to lowball you in the smug, condescending style that has become their trademark. Of course card shops need to make money, but these guys refuse to do business with anyone they can’t totally fleece.

I recommend literally anywhere else in town over this place - whether it’s The Rookie, Card Vault, or Mustang Sports Cards, you’re a guaranteed a better experience than...
