Pic ‘n Sav — Local services in Anniston

This is a wonderful small town grocery store and I cannot say enough nice things about them. The people are courteous and beyond nice they couldn't be more helpful and sweet. They have one of the best meat sections I have ever seen of any small town grocery store, their butchers and preppers are some of the most efficient and well-trained I've seen and quite a very long time probably 25 plus years. They have a fantastic deli section and the ladies in there are some of the nicest you would ever meet not to mention some of the best cooks around. This is a great store because they tend to carry a little bit of everything this is like a One-Stop shop kind of grocery store you can stop in and get everything you need for dinner or a barbecue and there'll be no need to have to go anywhere else to pick up supplies because they have everything right there...cup, containers and condiments, paper plates to pickles. Staff is always really nice. We bought groceries 11/7/2021 4:30ish and our cashier was the sweet lady at i believe the 2nd register coming in the door she had a brace on her hand...then another lady came to help her she had blondish light hair but they was very nice and helpful and actually asked how my day was and held a conversation with me which really means alot because most cashiers stay quiet and short answers so i really enjoyed our casual conversation small things like that means more than yall will ever know because i have been battling deep depression and its been a struggle it means alot to have you ask me how i was and was genuinely interested in my day and grocery menus lol. Selection was sparce. The store was clean tho. They price things so they appear lower than normal. Then at the register they not only charge the 10% tax. But they also hit you with a 10% sir charge. So there is absolutely no savings at all. We actually get better prices at winn dixie. At least there's no sticker shock at the register. And pic n sav has poor selection compared to other grocery stores. We got four bags of groceries for $78bucks .The amount of food we actually got was small for spending nearly $80 bucks. It was a decent shopping experience, however we didn't SAVE at all. It should be called pic...
