Great experience! We completely remodeled our 20-year old masterbath with the help of Kathy Gregerson and her team with Ted's Floors and Beyond. Everyone we interacted with was pleasant, professional, and responsive to ensure all our expectations were met. I knew that every job has issues, some unforeseen, some of our own doing, and we had both. Two things I found to be different. First, Ted's needed to be paid in full before any work was started. At first I was concerned about giving up any leverage I had in the process, but Kathy assured me that they were in business in the same location for over 20 years and weren't going anywhere and they'd make it right if we weren't satisfied. In the end, it wasn't an issue as they were true to their word. Secondly, we needed to provide all our own fixtures. At first this bothered me a bit, but afterwards, I think this was actually better as we got exactly what we wanted in the end. We trusted in Kathy and her team who were patient through the entire process, even when we changed the cabinet design during the install phase. She guided and communicated with us throughout the project and coordinated all tradecraft to ensure we were completely satisfied with the end product. I first heard about Ted's Abbey Carpet & Floor on television and then I found out that they installed two rooms of carpet in my mom's house so I thought I'd give them a try. From the moment I walked into their Birmingham showroom I was amazed. The showroom itself was a selling point and after I met Ben Johnson, the sales associate, I knew I was in the right place. Ben explained the different types of carpet and we discussed what would be best for our needs. I took my husband back the next day and he too was sold. We decided to put flooring throughout our home. We purchased carpet, laminate and vinyl flooring. They did an entire home makeover. The installers came as arranged and Keith and Tim were experts with their job. They moved furniture, repaired floors, and cut and placed beautiful flooring throughout our home. They were neat, punctual and friendly each day that they came to work on our home. We couldn't have found a better company to take care of our needs. It's been about two months since we got our flooring done and we are still in awe of the transformation that it has made in our home. I had recently purchased a house and was bothered by the living room flooring so when I noticed Ted's was holding a flooring Sale/Open House event with most of the national manufacturer's reps and samples on hand, I drove over to see what was available. I met an associate almost immediately and told him I wanted to see the luxury vinyls. He escorted me to an area where Mohawk rep began showing me samples. We found two that were equally attractive to me, but eventually settled on one that was going to be "special order" - I have attached a photo. Two wonderful installers, Ed Collett and another whose name I can't recall, came out when the materials arrived, and very professionally laid out my spacious living room (25 x 28) in a little less than a day.
