I would not recommend this place my daughter picked out a prom dress and wanted feathers added from the waist down but instead of the owner, listening to my daughter and looking at my daughters pictures, she just kept bragging about how she was doing the mayors daughters dress, so two days before we’re needing the dress, I called to check on the dress to see if it’s done she proceeded to tell me that the lady had to stop midway from adding the feathers to the whole bottom of the dress because she ran out and it’s not gonna be thick enough. This is Less than 48 hours from the scheduled pick up time My daughter did not want it thick. It’s just supposed to be single feathers, added everywhere, so I told Lady I was not buying no more feathers. It would be fine because I’m not spending 70 more dollars on more feathers when they’re not supposed to be a full set of feathers. I asked her if she could send me a picture of the dress she’s going to proceeded to tell me that she can’t because the lady who does her alterations has the dress, I don’t understand why she couldn’t send a picture of the dress, but OK. We were scheduled to pick it up in the morning. The lady did not answer our calls or text it clearly stated on the door that they opened at 11 but website said 1130 I sat there for almost an hour before we got a hold of her to pick up the dress. She’s going to tell me she doesn’t have it and it’s not finished we were supposed to already pick that dress up this morning, so I have to stay there for another three hours waiting on the dress. I go in to get the dress the feathers do not even match she put them all around the bottom of the dress. They are not even the same type of feathers nor where we wanted the feathers she charged $103 and it is a five dollar boa from Claire’s that she sold to the bottom of the dress, she can’t even lie and say that it is not because it is not. The end of the boa are hanging off this so-called lady that’s been doing the alterations is horrible. Don’t waste your money and the woman who sold us the dress was bragging about her 20 years in business not even order the right feathers or have them put on the dress proper and that’s how you treat customers you’ve been in that business for 20 years making them wait ordering the wrong product lying about the price of the product and not even doing the alterations that were asked that your customer had to pay for that is crazy where do they do that at? Had some cute little dresses in the windows, so I was waiting for the place to open up so I can look for a prom dress and our later the place still was not open came back bye about three hours later it still was not open so I went to go get a late lunch After eating from across the street I realize it finally opened four hours after the scheduled time but OK no big deal went to look at the dresses could not see them because it is so packed and so cluttered that even if there was cute dresses would never be able to find them. All the Lady kept doing was bragging about how long she was in business and I can order dresses that she has on Her website if I didn’t find something I like and that she has them in a warehouse But none of the dresses have prices she was just randomly making up prices on these dresses. The one dress that I found that look decent I still could not get because the bottom of the dress was dirty from people walking on it because there’s no room then there is, nowhere to try on a dress she wanted me to step behind this curtain that was in the back with no mirrors or anything in the back was just as dirty as the front. For somebody who’s been in business this long you would figure they would have a better accommodations...

I went in for the first time on a Monday afternoon. I found the Boutique on line. When I went in I explained to the lady. I had waited to the last minute thinking the Made of honor address I had was gonna fit. But it was about an inch to small. With only 6 day’s till the wedding. I had to find a dress that was a Terra-cotta color. I had been everywhere from Pell City, Talladaga, Jacksonville, Anniston and she was the last stop in Oxford. Every Drycleaner,Boutique you name it. I stoped at. Even hoping to find some to Alter it. Or find something else that would Match the color. But nothing close to that color and everyone told me no way they could alter it. She asked where the dress was. I got it out of the car, she said YES I can get it altered for you. Now remember I had to have it by Saturday. Had my Doubts. But she did it, She come thru for me!!!
