Martin Appliance — Local services in Antis Township

Tyler and Dylan installed our new GE Profile refrigerator and range yesterday. Those two young men worked very well together from start to finish. Not only are they courteous and polite, but they are skilled and knowledgeable about how to install each appliance. They carefully measured our doorways to determine the best way in and out. They removed both old appliances and gave me time to clean the floor underneath before bringing in the new ones.

When preparing to install the water line to the refrigerator, they made an excellent suggestion to add a separate shut/off valve for it in the basement (which they did). They also replaced our old coiled copper waterline upstairs with flexible rubber tubing to allow for easier movement of the appliance for cleaning underneath. They kept us informed step by step in the process. When they were done, they cleaned up everything and told us to be sure to turn on the oven to 350 degrees and leave it on for about 45 minutes to eliminate any harmful fumes before baking food. (I never would have thought of that.) They also said if we found anything wrong with either appliance or had any questions, just call. We couldn’t have had a better experience than they provided. Martin Appliance and their installation crew are the finest in the area.

We’ve had appliance installations (washer and dryer, microwave) from a “big box” store in the past, but in each case the installers rushed to get the job done fast. And in both cases, the work was sloppy.

I purchased a speed queen front load washer and dryer and paid for delivery and professional instalation on November 22 2023. The washer shook violently and made metal grinding noises. I notified martins the next day they were open and a repair man checked the washer to discover the support was not removed from the front of drum. He removed the support and the shaking has gone away. Speed queen is rated to have a 25 year life, I have voiced my concern about damage that may have been done to the unit and how it may effect the life of the appliance. This has fallen on deaf ears and now I will see how speed queen feels about damage that may have occurred due to improper installation done by Martins

I called Martins head quarters and after some talking a decision was made to replace the washer. I feel that I should not have needed to go to this level to get this resolved but after talking to the correct people I am very satisfied with washing machine. I have since bought other appliances from Martins, upright freezer and dish washer and everything is as expected. Martins has been good for me to deal with and I am sorry it took me this long...

We had an exceptional experience at Martins Appliance. Linford Leinbach our salesman was excellent. Linford presented us with many options and suggested things based on our budget, there was no pressure at all. Linford did not rush us and explained in detail the differences between refrigerators. When we purchased our refrigerator Linford said it would be 3 weeks delivery time. We told Linford the noise our present refrigerator is making drove us crazy. Linford said let me see what I can do. Linford called us two days later and said the refrigerator will be there tomorrow! He did not have to go out of his way for us he already made the sale, but he did. That's the type of people working at Martins Appliance. The delivery team Dylan and Landon took care of all our needs they we neat and clean and answered any questions we had. They went out of their way to ensure we were satisfied customers. There is no doubt Martins Appliance employees exceptional driven people who care about the customer. They walk the talk!!
