The parking, and setting are spectacular. The ramp itself is horrible. It's so shallow, and sludge-filled that every boat, including even the jet-ski's (yes, people were brave enough to get on a jet ski on that gator-infested lake) had major issues with sludge blocking engine intakes, which makes it next to impossible to load onto your trailer, because it shuts down your engine. When I was coming in, every single boat had those same problems.
Use the canal ramp, unless you know EXACTLY how to handle water conditions like that. And, even then, the foreseeable water in that part of the lake has an average depth of about 1ft.
