Jess Lakes — Local services in Apple Valley

Ok.. So we paid to get in. Im used to it coming from Orange County. It was windy and the water was murky. We get rigged up and low and behold... Fish on.. The my nephew (13) and son (6) caught their first fish ever. It was truly a great experience for them. Green power bait and about a 14in lead with a 1/4 bullet weight on 4lb mono is what we caught all 11 fish that day. I like stream and big lake fishing but this is great for beginners and kids. You know I was torn at first because I didn't catch anything the first time there, and its a hatchery! but limited out the second time there, you just need to know where to fish and especially what bait to use, power bait is best it's also a little expensive $30 for adults $15 for under 12 years old, no fishing license needed!
