I must say this place is a definite hidden treasure of our desert, they have some amazing and very historical pieces on display at their location. Besides all of the very impressive pieces on display they have so many things inside that are history for the high desert like a mammoth skull that lived here so long ago, and also had many specimens on display to show my child all of our wildlife that we live with and share our beautiful desert with. Read moreThis was a great 1-2 hour experience for a fair price. Even though it was a weekend, there was hardly anybody else at opening time. They did have a small kids section play area (play kitchen, books to read, puzzles, etc.), a section on the history of the area, sections on local animals (current & extinct). It looked bigger once inside and had plenty to look at. It also looked like it was recently renovated due to the cleanliness and state of the displays although I'm not sure.
