Archbold Super Valu — Local services in Archbold

Have shopped here many times, and of the times I have this is what I have noticed. They are generally over priced, but people can overlook that because it is convenient. Many times I’ve bought things that when I took them home and opened them, I’ve found mold growing on the food. Today was my last straw with SuperValu. I’ve gone in many times, three times to be exact, and brought my puppy in with me. He is a hypoallergenic puppy, a Cockapoo, and he generally never leaves my arms. So tell me why today all the sudden, I am not allowed to have pets with me in the store. According to the manager (at least I think that was who the person was) they have a posted sign about it. I did not see one. And if it’s a rule, then why was I not informed of it the first three times? The woman said that the employees might not have known, I must ask, how that is something I need to be responsible for? After I left, the lady was standing up at the register basically trash talking me, and my family overheard her. Unprofessional, and rude. No that doesn’t apply to everyone there, but that also doesn’t mean I care enough to find out who the kind employees are. It’s better just to go to...

Nice hometown grocery. They have a few items Walmart does not have and you dont have to walk a mile to get everything. Tuesdays they offer 10% discount to folks 60 years old and older.. Friendly helpful and patient staff will find stuff for you if you are a guy and wife wants something unusual...located on the south edge of Archbold right on SR 66 BESIDE a gas station and convenience store. It was good, went with twin little ladies to the store, glad they have that car cart, the girls request it everytime we go, ran in there to get a few things, 3rd in line, cashier calls up help for another line to open, young man came over and helped a guy in front of me get his groceries checked out in good fashion, =) got me in and out of line, gave my girls stickers, which they love =) =)...
