I had such a wonderful and easy experience working with Jazmin and her team! Initially I struggled finding a studio who would not only produce high quality work but willing to travel 3.5 hours out of the city to central PA. Luckily I found Jazmin, who was God-sent! This was a fairly large job (15 people total!) and several of my ladies preferred different looks ranging from natural to full-on glam, but Jazmin provided us with an excellent team who made sure everyone's needs were met. They even helped ease my mother and mother-in-law into trying false lashes for their first time and both women were thrilled with the end result! As for Bridal Makeup, my hair was done by Allison and my make-up was done by her brother, Mark. These two deserve huge shoutouts for being such amazing and talented humans! Not only did they do an outstanding job, we also chatted and laughed the whole time and became such fast friends! I'm not super experienced with hair or makeup and I was worried I wasn't prepared to give them great direction on what I wanted but it's like they pulled the ideas and visions right out of my head and knew EXACTLY what I wanted. I swear, they are mind readers. If available, go for Allison and Mark!!! This was also my first time trying airbrush makeup which was nerve-racking for me as I wanted to make sure we achieved a natural look, but Jazmin eased all of my concerns prior to the day and Mark made sure I was 100% comfortable throughout the application process. I definitely recommend you try the airbrush (at least during your trial) as it can still give you a beautiful "no makeup" look. Lastly, I want to mention how amazingly flexible this studio is to work and book with! I had originally planned on using a separate, local team for my rehearsal hair and makeup (as Jazmin's team wasn't scheduled to come into town until later that night) but these plans fell through due to one of them being exposed to covid, So I reached out to Jazmin who happily sent her stylists out ahead of schedule to complete the job. Absolutely the best team for your wedding make up and hair! I’m a picky customer, but Jazmin was understanding, reassuring, and made me look my absolute best on my wedding day (I didn’t even know I can look like that, with not much make up).

Jazmin herself was my make up artist. Katherine Klint was the hair stylist for all 3 of us. Together they created an amazing cohesive style, I almost cry every time I look at the photos.

There was another make up artist (also Katherine) that did my mom’s and future mother-in-law’s make up, also great. It was my mom’s first time trying false lashes and she loved it!

The wedding style was Roaring 20-s, my mom’s hair was just as amazing as mine despite her having concerns not much can be done with short hair.

Jasmin was very professional and always very helpful, she has a portal where you can sign the contract and see all the details ( very convenient). Sometimes if your wedding is far away, responses can be a little bit delayed- please be patient, it is a small business after all and the core of the business is to do hair and make up for the brides, I’m sure this keeps her more than busy.

The only improvement I would make is the timing: I requested a super complicated up do, was supposed to be done by 12:30pm so that I can enjoy some champagne and cheese with bridesmaids until photographer comes at 1:15pm, but was only allocated an hour for said up do (extensions and all) on the schedule 11:30-12:30. I brought up my concerns to Jazmin but she said it’s enough time since I had a trial and now they know the hair texture, face etc. Well, I didn’t get out of the chair until 1:15pm exactly, had to rush to get my dress on and take photos, and didn’t get to have said champagne or anything to eat until after the ceremony. In regard to hair and make-up, the work at Jazmin Rae & Co is unparalleled. I worked with Sofia (make-up) and Cassidy (hair) for my wedding and their work was beautiful. They were lovely to work with, listened to what each individual was asking for, gave helpful guidance about how to adapt the desired look in a way that would work for the individual, and made everyone feel and look beautiful. I actually cried when I saw my hair and make-up together, it was so breathtaking. They also integrated well with our group and added to the overall positivity of the wedding morning. I am giving 4 stars because, unfortunately, working with Jazmin started off positively but became disheartening in the tail end of our wedding planning. We had an issue with misinformation in the contract that took 3-4 months to change and was not resolved until 2 weeks before the wedding. When we highlighted the misinformation in the contract and shared that we were not comfortable signing until the misinformation was corrected, Jazmin initially acknowledged it and made steps to change it, however, the changes were not apparent on our end. Although we kept bringing it up, she stopped answering our questions about, and, we feel, took minimal steps to address it even though the issue persisted. I would like to acknowledge that Jazmin was planning a wedding in tandem with me and may have been struggling herself as is, unfortunately, very common during wedding planning.
