So I normally don’t write reviews but, this one NEEDED to be done. I normally saw a different stylist from this salon but she was out on maternity, so I agreed to get scheduled with Britney. When I walked in and sat down I told her I wanted half black and half blonde on the lower half. She told me how that she doesn’t recommend that and that it wouldn’t look good. And left to go start mixing. I was sitting there and I could hear EVERYTHING she was saying to the other stylists. She came back out after telling everyone, “you are not gonna believe what this girl wants in the chair!… that’s gonna look so.. bad… ew” and I told her “I still want what I want but make it look good.” I should’ve just left then. But, then she gave me what she wanted. She gave me blonde highlights!!!! Blonde highlights! And had the audacity to take a picture of it. ONE OF THE WORST EXPERIENCES! Your job is to give the customer what they want regardless of opinion and if you couldn’t do it, then I will go somewhere else! And I will be from here on out. Great job...

I made a appointment for my two teenage daughters. I live in the country two hours away they were like the 8th place I called because nowhere else could fit both in the same time. They said they could, I explained in detail what I wanted done color highlights and cuts. She made the appointment at 4 got one kid done and said they couldn't do the other. Offered a small discount to come back after I repeatedly told them I live to far away. It I would have known I would have found somewhere else, took them to separate ones whatever. As you can imagine I have one upset daughter, and one happy daughter. None of us felt like going to dinner and enjoying our time out of the country, instead drove home and the rest of the night sucked. This salon is the most comforting and calming salon I’ve ever been in. Getting my hair done in the past hasn’t been relaxing, it’s honestly been traumatic. I immediately felt at ease when I walked into Karma, I was calm enough in the waiting section I could’ve fallen asleep. I came to Katie wanting a big change, I had over a year and a half of grow out of blond highlights and was over due for a trim. Katie helped me choose a hair color that would match my skin tone and my eyes perfectly, I asked for bangs and a lot of face framing hair. I am so incredibly happy with my hair, this is a new start for me. Everyone I know is shocked and amazed with my hair, I will be seeing Katie for my hair from now on! 10/10 this place...
