The rink its self was great. Smooth good ice to glide across. When it comes to the facilities employees and equipment though, i'm severely disappointed. It was my first time ever ice skating with years of roller skating and blading experience to back me up. At first I was impressed with the skates provided for rent. That was until i started skating. I gave each of the 2 pairs i use 15 mins before getting fed up with being slammed into the wall. I don’t figure ever pair will be perfect since they’re for public use…. but both pairs i got had curved blades that you literally could not go straight. That’s not what made my experience exceptionally disappointing though. What really rubbed in was the employees. i didn’t catch any names but seemingly the front desk is civilized… inside the building, where you get the skates, there were 2 works completely unconcerned with their work. 1 boy and 1 girl. the boy wasn’t openly rude but did ignore me to turn to his coworker to say “only 5 more minutes”. i tried again with the female and told her my situation and that id like to try a different pair. she looked up from her phone, smirked and laughed, and proceeded to get up with attitude and as slow as possible grabbed a new pair. This. pissed me of. because i know it can’t be a hard job to sit there on ur phone and comprehend the # system the rink uses for the skates. Genuinely awful customer service which rubbed in my frustration greatly. as i was putting the new pair up she would look up often and give a chuckle in my direction. Disrespectful. walking out i told the front desk but now i’m writing a review. January 3rd 2024 i went in around 1:00pm and left at 1:35. The blonde woman working the skate rentals was extremely rude and i’m disappointed that was my first experience...
Read moreWent to skating competition yesterday, February 15th. It was a fiasco. In the past, they have blocked entrance to rink when skaters were performing. Yesterday was a constant stream of extremely rude people. Some people were in and out 5-6 times during performance by one team. They stood up in front of the glass so you could not see, and these were performing teams. I blame the coaches for this. They need to teach more respect for teams and audience. They had little skaters walking around during performances on ice selling “chuck a pucks” in the stands. Totally inappropriate. You need to review your policies out of respect for...
Read moreBusy. You have to arrive nearly an hour early to get in. Then deal with the pandemic new rules of no one with a tempter permitted in. After that you are unable to visit the food stand since it is not open. Plus you have to deal with unsupervised childern and teens on the ice. Parents just dropped their childern off and left them, like the ice rink is a baby sitting rink. What a downfall. Not advisable for adults wanting a night a...
