Dutch Valley Meats — Local services in Arthur

It's been a year since my last review and it is still a great place to work with. My beef producer drops off our animal for processing Dutch Valley calls me and walks me thru what I have done in the past and what I want to change on my order. Super helpful and friendly to work with with. As I said a year ago, "Wonderful people great place very personable".

I went a year, no freezer burn in any package, the cuts were terrific, the right amount of fat left on the brisket for slow cooking, the right amount of lean in hamburger, and everything was well marked and easy to read. The location is very clean and an important part of the community.

I cooked the brisket that was processed a year ago for Christmas. It was perfect and there was none left after my family got into it. Priced right and easy to work with I would recommend them highly to anyone looking for quality meats...

Best Butcher ever, we govthere twice a year for our meats it beats a grocery store anyway. The selection and freshness is so rewarding once you cook the meat you will never go back to store bought. Prices are very reasonable and they always have specials. They also have packages you can order to suit your preferences in meat. They make their own brats with so many flavors that you have to try so you know your favorite. Bacon Ranch, Bacon Cheeseburger and Jerk are ones we enjoy. Meat wise there is nothing like fresh sausage, bacon, pork cutlets, chuck roast, T-bone, Rib Eye or Strip steaks. Fresh hamburger just can't be beat either, now I can't eat any from the grocery stores as the difference is so huge. We contacted them two months prior and talked about our options and what was thought to be the best fit for us.
