Magic Rocket Vintage — Local services in Asheville

I’ve lived here my whole life, and have never found clothing that younger folks wore in the 80s and early 90s until I found this hidden gem. I read about this place in the Fairview Town Crier, and knew I needed to check it out. Most vintage places and antique shops (except for Rust & Found) around the area overprice their items. And most of the time, they’re items from Goodwill or Amazon. This place is a breath of fresh air for folks that love color, fun & quirky pieces, and some eclectic wardrobe staples in their closet. There is so much to love about this spot. The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming, and enjoy conversations with visitors. The moment you walk in, you’re immediately drawn into the shop’s relaxed, colorful space. There’s a terrific selection of vintage clothing and an impressive variety of local art you won’t find anywhere else. My wife and I found so many bargains and truly enjoyed exploring the shop (we were there for quite some time). I was also very curious about their Kava and Kratom seltzers as well. Where do we begin....this was an excellent experience, and we are so glad we decided to turn around and drive back to this shop to check it out. First of all, the shop owner, Dana, was one of the kindest and well rounded people I've ever talked to. The store had something for everyone. It was a huge assortment of clothes, jewelry, art , decor, and much more. Her prices were reasonable and the presentation and the atmosphere was exceptional.
