I finally walked out. I am pretty sure this business has changed hands. I used to love the coffee. It has always been a bit stronger than other coffee houses. There were also great treats. But my last two visits to Daymoon seemed to be lots socializing with little respect for people waiting. I understand that with small businesses its about word of mouth and knowing your locals but there is also a thin line between being friendly and loosing site of other patrons. This past visit I walked out after standing and waiting while the employee finished a conversation with what seemed like a regular. Read moreadorable, quaint, and cozy. those are the three words i would use to describe inside of daymoon. everyone working was friendly and attentive.my favorite part was the books available to buy. there was a wonderful selection and i was able to find a few books from a kids author that i love! i went through the drive-thru as well (twice) and didn’t wait for a long time. service was prompt. the person taking orders/payment was courteous and asked if i wanted to leave a tip. they thanked me when i said yes. it’s rare to hear someone thank you for a tip especially when it’s not guaranteed. next time we visit i’ll exclusively be buying my coffee...
Read moreI use to love this place and came multiple times a week. There’s too many coffee shops around to go somewhere that isn’t concerned about customer’s time. Today I order a bagel , wait a long time , then get a cold bagel. I park go in and explain I don’t have time to toast it myself ( they only then explained they can’t toast it which should have been told to me in the drive through) I ask for a yogurt instead they suggest I sit down and wait.
