We adopted a three month old black and white lab mix almost a year ago to the day. She arrived with two other dogs, her siblings I assume, but she was the runt and the quietest so we picked her. They had not had a chance to cat test her- we have a cat at home (which we adopted from here as well!)- but they allowed us into the cat room with her to see how she reacted to the cats in there. We felt safe with her reaction to them and she has never even attempted to harm our cat or ANY cat. In fact, our cat almost bullies her, even though she's more than five times her size today! Please be careful when trying to pair these animals with other's bc they are bred killing machines... Read moreI adopted Thor....a/k/a Hawkeye from Boyd County Animal Shelter. I think they do a wonderful job showcasing each dog in pictures and video. I'm not a person who can go into the kennel and shop. Breaks my heart to bad. ...I'm sure there are other people out there the same way. The dogs are clean and no fleas. I have had several questions after the adoption and they were more than happy to answer. The fee is $75 and they come with a certificate for a free rabies shot and spay/neuter.
