I had a colonoscopy this morning, and the treatment was fantastic. Everyone including the front desk receptionist (sorry, I can't remember your name), the nurses--Anna, Kim, Chris, and Marsha--and Dr. Sippey were all pleasant and helpful and attentive. The facility was comfortable, and the medication helped to relax me but not completely knock me out so I was able to follow what was happening and ask questions and watch the monitor. I was given a tasty snack afterwards and plenty of time to rest in the recovery room before dressing to go home. I would give a zero star if I could I been different hospitals all over world being combat veteran this one is worse. I thought VA is bad nope. They have beat by long shot. I went with chest pain and went in my left arm and jaw and they did couple blood test and sent me home with reasons unknown. Er Dr didn't even order nothing to help with pain. I said I took nitro before I left to go hospital and it helped some. My blood pressure was 150/101 and was all over place and nothing wrong. Don't waste ur time going they need to be shut down asap. Came into their Ashland Samaritan UH ER by ambulance 9/6/23 with 180/102 BP with chest pain. They ran nearly 7 hours of tests. BP fluctuating like crazy the entire time and still is. 180/102 one hour and 128/71 the next aka labile hypertension. Blood work showed abnormal tesults. Dime store ER doctor could care less and discharged me with instructions to follow up with my cardiologist. No kidding. Ohio Medical Board and The Joint Commission (accreditation) will be contacted ASAP and possibly a law firm. I have one star because of location...
