KDI Office Technology — Local services in Aston Township

We recently needed two toner cartridges for our office printer, so we placed an online order from KDI's website. Unbeknownst to our department, replacement toner had already been automatically sent months earlier, but it had been received by a different department and then misplaced. KDI's supply coordinator Siobhan immediately noticed that something wasn't right, put our order on hold, and wrote us an email telling us that we should already have the needed toner cartridges. She suggested that we verify that the toner definitely was not somewhere in our office before buying replacements, and even forwarded us the shipping dates and tracking numbers for the deliveries of the missing cartridges to help our search. She ended the email saying that she would not allow the online order to be processed until she heard back from us, just to be absolutely certain that we didn't buy toner we didn't need (it's a bit pricey). She did all of that WITHIN MINUTES of us placing the order online. We eventually located one of the cartridges, and so only had to order one replacement. Siobhan's efforts saved our department several hundred dollars.

When all was said and done, Siobhan had spent the time to write us a total of 6 very pleasant emails, updated our online order for us, and performed who knows how many other tasks on her end, all to make sure that we didn't spend money we didn't need to. KDI could have made more profit by selling us toner that we didn't need while saving themselves the trouble of helping us with a mistake that WE had made. But Siobhan and KDI took the time to act honorably and make sure we received all of the supplies and services that we needed, and ONLY the supplies and services we needed.
