I can’t say enough good things about Wes at Oconee Auto Refinishing and Body Shop. From start to finish, he went above and beyond—my car looks even better than I ever expected! I had prayed that God would lead me to the right place, and I truly believe He led me straight to Wes.

I had just gotten this car, so I was pretty bummed when it got damaged and didn’t think I would be able to afford to fix the entire thing—just enough to cover the exposed metal. But Wes was very honest and let me know that while he could do that, it wouldn’t look very good. He made the full repair as affordable as possible, and I appreciated that so much. I brought my car in with a scratch and dent that started at the back of the driver side and ran through almost the entire rear driver side door, and now it looks just like it did before.

What really stood out to me, beyond the incredible quality of his work, was the way Wes talked about his faith and the care he puts into every detail. He took the time to walk me through everything he planned to do. It wasn't just a repair—it was a true example of someone using their God-given gifts to serve others.

If you’re looking for someone who’s not only skilled but also kind, transparent, and genuinely passionate about what they do, I highly recommend Wes. I’m so thankful for the work he did and the peace of mind he gave me through the whole process.

The only good thing that came out of bringing my vehicle to this place is that it is painted, period. 10/10 wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. Obvious scratches and dents that were “missed by accident” when they’re very prominent. My vehicle color is blue/silver/lead color with gold glitter when it’s supposed to be GOLD! Nowhere near the same color. There were multiple things that were agreed upon doing and not doing that were done NOT as discussed. Some things done the complete opposite of what we discussed. I honestly couldn’t be less happy with what I’ve gotten left with. For the money I paid, it’s painted, I guess? But I could’ve paid my toddler to do a better job honestly. I get it, things happen, people mess up but dude point blank didn’t do what was asked of him. It took 5 weeks when turn around was 2 to 3. We were told he didn’t charge us to put the bumpers back on when he in fact charged us $290. The few dents he did do (although not all that was discussed) look better than they did, sure! But the color, the customer service, the total outcome was absolute TRASH. I don’t even trust him to “fix” what he didn’t do in the beginning. I’ll started off by saying one thing, the owner is for sure the nicest single owner of any shop i’ve met. As for the body work and paint itself i got done, i’d say it’s a solid 8/10 and only saying that because there’s 2 small gaps (mainly pic #2) i noticed which ideally should have been fixed but weren’t, either way at least my panel is straight and paint matched. The paint work specifically is 10/10 color match is on point considering this blues really hard to match, so if your coming here for only paint you won’t be disappointed at all, but if your getting body work be prepared to notice little abnormalities, your the only person who’d probably notice them cuz you know it was hit there, but still IDEALLY i wish wes would have gotten me right and fixed it when even initially i asked if those gaps could be addressed but it looks untouched from the day of the accident.
