I came here for the first time on my birthday this month (Aug 6). I had learned about this spa about 2 years ago and learned they were black owned, so I knew I definitely wanted to support, so bought my mom a gift certificate to this spa for her bday in 2022. After a year she finally used it and said it was great. Then at the beginning of this year she bought me one as a thank you for something I helped her do. Anyway, I decided at the beginning of this month to do a day at the spa for my birthday. When I called to book my appt about 4/5 days before, I wanted a full spa experience with a massage, facial, mani & pedi, however, the nail technician was booked for the entire month, so I only booked a facial and massage. I was quite disappointed b/c it was my birthday and now I would have to go somewhere else to get a mani pedi. Once I arrived at the spa, the front desk host was very nice, even remembered it was my birthday, (I guess from the intial appt call), and wished me a happy birthday, so I was impressed she had it marked. Then she escorted me to a waiting room as I filled out my forms. About 10 mins or so later, Fitzgerald came to get me for my massage, but before she took me away she gave me and other guests in the room a small gift, which I thought was nice. Once we were in the massage room, she told me what to do and left me to undress. The massage bed was really warm, which was nice and comfortable for me. My massage was great. It was just the right amount of pressure. I always know a massage is good when I am falling asleep. When I had to turn over she wrapped my feel with hot towels which felt amazing. Only thing is when she did my front, I thought I would have more of a foot and leg massage, but it seem to be really quick, however she did good on my arms and hands. Overall it was a great massage. Then Bridgett, (or was it Brittany...I forget which name), came in and she gave an awesome facial, my skin felt like it was really hydrated, supple, clean and moisturized. As we chatted she educated me on some things about my skincare which I was pleased to learn. She also made up for the lack of foot massage that I felt was lacking from earlier and gave me a great foot massage. I wasn't even expecting it to be honest, so I was quite pleased. At the end she even gave me a sample of the mask to use for my face, which I really liked. I went ahead and scheduled a facial follow up appt. All in all this was a great experience, I just knocked off a star for not being able to book a mani/pedi, which I will book another time. I think they should hire another person to take some of the overflow, if the nail tech stays that booked, b/c otherwise it will be hard to book spa packages unless you do them way in advance, and for me that never happens. I always plan to do things like this within a few days or a week in advance at them most...lol

I found your black owned business online and your great reviews confirmed that I needed to patronize your business. I decided to celebrate my birthday by getting some much needed spa treatments. I cannot say enough how wonderful my experience was at your spa. Customer Service was excellent! All services were performed on time and the facility was clean and beautifully decorated. I received a full body salt scrub & massage from Foy and a Celestial Facial from Brittney. They both were very professional and knowledgable. They had my body tension free, soft and glowing. I must say this little gem is such a find for those looking to focus more on their self care and it's located away from the hustle and bustle of the city. They have definitely gained a new customer.

Beware of getting gift cards from Celestial Spa. I misplaced my gift card and tried to redeem my and they told me that the gift card expired after 5 years. However, Britney (Celestial Spa Manager) stated that my gift card is expired. I told her there is no expiration on the card, and it does not say that in the fine print on my gift card. I would of been more understanding if they had no record of my purchase. However, they were able to look my gift card up in the system and give me date of purchase and everything.

Sadly I visited this establishment (using the term spa would not be descriptive), 3 weeks ago to celebrate my birthday with a massage. BAD CHOICE. Prepping for the massage, there was not a rug on the floor, nor was I offered even a paper slipper, so it was out of my shoes onto a floor (God knows if it was clean) and onto the table. The young man posing as a masseuse was anything but, masquerading as a masseuse. For 60 minutes he kneaded my body as if he was working on dough for a loaf of bread. Not a smooth stroke ever. There were points where I winced and grimaced because of the pain he inflicted. Several times I asked him to not exert so much pressure. How does someone massage the palm of your hand and not the entire hand, skipping the fingers. Who massages the soles of your feet and not the toes or entire top of the foot? Sooooooo disappointed. I was never offered a cup of water. From the time I came in until the moment I left. No hospitality. Terrible Service. NEVER AGAIN. The $90 payment was charitable giving. I made the terrible decision to support a Black business this year and made the wrong choice. I'll continue to go where I've always gone, to get what I've always gotten, service and...

Unfortunately, I have mixed reviews.

I paid for the Celestial Spa Package.

Ms. Fitzgerald did my full body massage. I expected a lot more from the service. It felt like a lot of tugging and pulling on my body, rather being relaxing. It wasn’t a deep tissue (press into the skin and massage gently) type of experience I predicted it would have been. Bless her heart; she was so kind and sweet!

Brittany came in to do my facial, neck and foot massage. She was wonderful with both. My face felt hydrated and rejuvenated. Her massages were amazing!!! Maybe if I use this spa again, I would see if I could get Brittany to do all of my services!!! My face and chest were brighter and smoother when I left the spa.

Brittany also did my spa manicure and pedicure. I guess the manicure and pedicure are more catered to older customers because I didn’t receive the norm of what I would have gotten done at the regular nail salon.

Some of the services here, that I received, were mediocre. I truly...
