First I wanna say how grateful I am to share my experiences of Lincoln Cemetery and for meeting this amazing woman that I had the pleasure of meeting! I first met Mrs. Woods in April 2024 with the passing of my cousin, Mrs. Woods went over and beyond with knowledge and understanding of what my family needed at that difficult time.
On August 31, 2024.. My son was tragically taken away.. And I had no clue of what to do, when I first got to the cemetery on September 4th I was greeted with a warm smile from the receptionist, I told her my needs and she rung Mrs. Woods to assist me. After I gotten into Mrs. Wood’s office, she grab me and hugged me tight, gave me her condolences and allowed me to cry it out.. After all the tears was cried out, we jump into business!! Mrs. Woods went over every informative information and answered every question that I had. She was very knowledgeable and helpful, Mrs. Woods made sure before I left, that I was satisfied with all plans made for my son’s final resting place. She was very concerned with me and my family wellbeing during this most difficult time that we was experiencing. Even after my son’s service, Mrs. Woods are still reaching out just to check on my mental state! She even contacted me in December and informed me about the tree lighting for family and friends and encouraged me to be there for the special event, I’m glad I was able to be apart of such a special memorial service that evening. I will forever be grateful and thankful for all that Mrs. Woods, Mrs. Johnson and the staff of Lincoln Memorial Cemetery have done. As well as For just going the extra mile with the family’s that you service every day. Though my heart is HEAVY and scattered in pieces, when I visit the cemetery and I see Mrs. Woods, she embraces me and let me know that I’m not alone going through and that she’s here with me! SHE’s “Just A Phone Call Away” so I AM #Grateful #Thankful and A #SatisfiedCustomer I Love You Mrs. Woods and Thank you for being God’s Chosen Vessel to Serve the People❤️ Walker and...
Read moreI would like to say Lincoln Cemetary does not care about grief stricken families or the grounds where remains of deceased loved ones final resting place.
Do not! i repeat use this funeral home for your funeral and especially burial needs!
My family has suffered for over one year of not having a headstone that was fully paid for in cash April 2021.
It’s really sad to be told headstone would initially be installed in 12-14 weeks and now almost a year later absolutely “NO HEADSTONE”nor any clear communication as to when headstone will be installed.
The family has been told the “delay “ is due to covid, “it’s out of their ”LINCOLN’S “hands because one of the main granite company (ColdSprings) is overseas! This is totally unacceptable and unprofessional .
Lincoln Cemetary should have several vendors to provide granite and not have the family enduring additional stress. Again consumers “be ware “if you purchase headstone from Lincoln you will be very disappointed! nor receive outstanding customer service.
It’s very disappointing and sad, everyone that works for Lincoln or any other cemeteries associated with Lincoln should be fired and owner should no longer own this very unorganized & unprofessional business!
Also, the cemeteries are unkept! The grass & weeds are knee high during the spring & summer! The grass is never freshly cut or edged!!!! You will pretty much climb through a forest or jungle to see loved ones grave!!
The grass around “flat markers” covers deceased loved ones names which make it difficult to find if it’s the first time visiting cemetary!! Another slap in the face of the black community! What a complete shame & disgrace to deceased...
Read moreWe have been active clients with Lincoln Cemetery since 1970 with numerous family members and friends. This was a very shocking, heart breaking experience this time in 2025. Although the owner has passed away whom I communicated any issues with that I had he would address them and correct the issue. As well as the others worked there that have gone on to Glory or retired.
Ms. Cee Cee Anderson is such a warm, professional and beautiful lady who helped us get through this. Without her help I don't know what we would have done. Ms. Anderson gets 100 plus stars* in my book. Request for her if you want to be treated with the upmost respect and professionalism.
On the other hand the staff that has not been answering the phone and when you ask questions they are on the defensive instead of being professional and helpful [Ms. Johnson]. Going forward I pray that they get it together and communicate more effectively to the grieving families. Just know in life this is one ticket no one can not except.
To God Be The Glory. I pray my family member we just lost on Tuesday March 25, 2025. Rest In Peace, now that she is with her family. Just buried her brother in February of 2024. He is buried at Lincoln as well. They are back together again.❤️💜💙
So please understand the feelings that our family and other families has been going through. Grieving families are hurting when making arrangements. All is asked is for sympathy through the process and...
