If I could leave 0 stars, I would. On a recent visit to Rapha Thrift Store, I found a suit that I wanted to try on. I asked an employee if I could use the dressing room. She informed me that no dressing rooms were available. I asked if I could return it if I bought it and it didn't fit. The girl said, "Yes, you can bring it back if it doesn't work." She was right, but the fact that you get an in-store credit instead of getting your money back was never disclosed. $40 was a bit much to spend on a suit at the thrift store, but it was like new, so I made the purchase with the understanding that I could bring it back and get my money back if it didn't work. The in-store credit policy was never mentioned by the employee that informed me that I could bring it back. When I called to get this straightened out with the store manager, she let me know that I would not be getting my money back even though her employee deceived me. That's fine. We will spend the $40 credit and cease to do business with Rapha Thrift Store. The money isn't the issue. It's only $40. It's a matter of integrity, reputation, and ethics which is obviously not at the top of their priority list. What's also troubling is the hundreds of dollars in donations that my family has donated to Rapha Thrift Store. Loyalty has certainly...
Read moreThis is by far my most favorite thrift store ever!! I always find stuff when I go. When they first opened I had no complaints what so ever. Now, I can’t find any of the 80% discounted colors hardly can find the 50%.. that’s really no big deal to me but may be to other people who is actually in need and shop just for the discounted colors so that’s on other people’s behalf.. I have spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars in this store and shop in there once sometimes twice a week and I’ve seen that the prices have went up so much since when I very first started shopping there. Like some of the high end brands are either super cheap or way too expensive.. and the off brands are way too high. It doesn’t make sense to me! But those are my only complaints. All in all I...
Read moreClean, well organized, and great stuff at decent prices. Can't ask for more.
Edit: everything is the same many years later except the prices are ridiculous. They have a bunch of new in box/package junky overpriced stuff. The over priced new furniture section is taking over the front half of the store, and the jewelry counter was crazy. Everything was overpriced and some of it was misrepresented. No one is going to a thrift store in Attalla to buy Taxco jewelry listed as south western or native and especially not for more than it costs straight from the artisan in Mexico. And finally while we were there, they locked people into the women’s bathroom. Customers had to go complain up front to let those...
