Really weird and disappointing experience. My mother and I reserved our specific escape room and arrived right on time. We called from the parking lot to make sure we were at the right place and a woman on the phone said “Come right on in, we have your room ready for you!” We went inside and no one was at the counter. Eventually an employee named Bailey came out and said she had just given away our escape room to another group. We were really confused as to how this could happen as we had arrived on time - Bailey said we were late because we didn’t arrive early, even though we arrived on time. I requested to speak to a manager and Bailey refused to bring her manager out from the back even though we had just spoken to her on the phone. Bailey refused to give us a refund even though there was a mix-up on their end and they gave our reserved room to another group. Bailey was extremely rude and dismissive. We are from out of state and traveled to california to visit family. We have done escape rooms all over different states, we found this one to be among our favorite. We did lost and twenty one and thoroughly enjoyed the puzzles and rooms. I particularly liked lost as her or I either one aren't gamblers so we had a hiccup on the twenty one room. I had thought the gamemaster outdid herself at the prop for the bank vault door then was fascinated to find out its an actual bank vault. This game takes place in a real legit vault guys!!! I really love that they plan on redoing the rooms once in awhile. I think twenty one could be revamped into the popular netflix series money heist. Since its a vault. This place was AMAZING! When we arrived for our scheduled time we were greeted by the owner Kelly and she was the absolute best. You could tell she was passionate about her business and the experience definitely reflected. She designs and builds each room to provide the most immersive experience possible. The escape room my girlfriend and I did had a 60 minute time limit and we just bearly missed the mark. The room was the perfect difficulty and kept us on our toes. I was impressed by the attention to detail that was put into the clues and storyline. Also the amount of work that when into the design of custom containers/electronic latches blew my mind.
