They are overpriced for what they give you. $60 for 2 meals is ridiculous from a food truck. It’s steak and shrimp, not filet and lobster. My wife got the chicken and shrimp plate and her chicken was so dry, it was almost petrified. The employees they have working the truck in Modesto are unprofessional and they charge $0.25 per sauce. This place gets you coming and going. Modesto Grub Hub was difficult to find parking. I placed my order online, and they said it would be 30 minutes until ready. I show up at 32 minutes, and they tell me it will be another 10 minutes. 15 minutes later, I get my overpriced and dried out food. I can make better teppanyaki with my eyes closed. Great experience & even greater food. I’ve gone multiple times & have tried practically almost everything on the menu. Wet here dining in or taking out. Having it fresh or the next day food always taste absolutely amazing. I’m always happy with the way I’m treated when I go, the cashier is always so nice & my interactions with the cook are always funny! I’m always content with the amount I get too! The shrimp plate is my absolute favorite, I recommend it every time! Steak/chicken/salmon/ shrimp are always so juicy, tender, nicely flavored and delicious. Definitely try the hot mayo too! I’m ordering from here almost every Friday night when I’m not at work. For starters, the staff is ALWAYS quick to greet their customers, and it’s always with a smile, and a positive attitude, even during their dinner rush, I’ve seen it first hand. The tables are always clear of trash and wiped down clean. They’re VERY GENEROUS with their portions, so the lunch and dinner plates are worth the price., (we never dine in, always carry out) I have a 7 minute drive from there to my home and the meals are always piping hot.
