DG Market — Local services in Auburn

I am incredibly disappointed in the lack of flexibility not only from the cashier, but from the manager on duty today, 7/7/19. I have been allowed to get two packs of 22 Good n Fun rawhide chews a couple times now for buy 1 get 1 free as advertised on the sign. The manager today did not allow that and instead it was buy one pack of 22 rawhide chews and get one pack of 3 kabobs or ribs for free. I was upset, but went to get a 3 pack of kabobs or ribs instead. The store was out of stock so I picked up a 6 pack of kabobs as that was all that was available. The manager did not allow me to get this item for free and still asked if I wanted to get the 22 pack of chews without my free item since they were out of stock. It is not my fault this store was poorly stocked and that I should be allowed the same purchasing opportunities as I’ve been allowed in the past. This store just lost all of my business as I live not even a mile down the road. The manager wasn’t willing to work...

Worst management I have ever seen. The employees are very rude and will not even stop what they are doing to come resolve issues at the self checkout. The employees are always talking on the phone while working and do not take their position and title seriously. I am an assistant store manager for another retail chain and I know piss poor customer service and BAD employee behavior when I see it. It may be close and convenient, but this store does not deserve your time or money!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Corporate needs to clean the house at Wire Rd. DG Market. Please CROSS-TRAIN all employees in the store on this new FED-EX pickup ordeal...i was the ONLY customer in the store ....needed to pick up a package and the clerk had to radio the other store person who was clearly busy..and remind you the front clerk was not busy ..no customers insight ...ONLY ME...and so I waited and waited and waited for the person to come from the back of the store ONLY TO FIND OUT THE PACKAGE WASN'T THERE YET .. but it was otw..i could've saved 15mins waiting if she was cross trained on scanning for...
