When we were first referred to Rey, we weren’t sure if we needed or wanted a videographer. Both being in our 50’s, this was new technology, and we just thought a photographer would be fine. After watching a video a colleague sent us, we were impressed, and thought about the difference between a photographer and a videographer. There is such a difference.

When I first met Rey at a Starbucks to discuss options, I was so impressed with his kindness, appreciation for our wishes, and wanting to know our story in detail so he could appreciate what we wanted. As I described how our love had come to be, and grown into our desire to be married, he actually got Goosebumps on his arms he was so connected with our story. He truly is a caring and emotional man who loves what he does.

Rey was completely responsive to our needs and wishes throughout the process, that if felt like we were working with a friend, not a businessperson. Rey came to our house to make sure he understood who we are, what we wanted, and what our special day meant to us. Rey strives to understand who he is videoing. He didn’t have to do this, he could have just shot video of our wedding/reception, and been done. But he did not. Rey added a special touch of being personal, and involved in our wedding. Something I truly didn’t think would happen.

On our wedding day, it was like Rey was part of our wedding party. He silently moved in and out of our events of the day, gave us direction on what he needed to make our video special, and was so respectful of our needs and wishes.

He was on scene early, and didn’t leave until late. He wanted to capture our story and the whole experience for us, not just a video, but our event with all the emotions, and love that was there. He captured it all.

Our video is incredible, but more than a videographer, he was involved with guests, and the staff at our reception. Rey flowed in and out gracefully with everyone, and no one ever felt like they had to suddenly be on point. He made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, and allowed us to be natural and not staged. What he created for us is more than a memory, he captured our story. Something we will both cherish and treasure for all the years to come. I hope to use him again for other celebrations and events. I cannot say enough about my amazing experience with Rey. Words just can’t describe both the service he provided as well as how absolutely stunning his final product was.

I will start with I reached out to Rey as I was searching for a photographer to capture a surprise proposal during a short visit to Seattle before we left for a cruise. I am a bit of a planner so I wanted everything perfect but with us not being from the area and only being in Seattle for two days, I was limited to how much I could physically control. Insert Rey.

After speaking with him the first time, I was immediately confident that he was the answer, and it only got better from there. He gave me some ideas and made a few suggestions and planned everything to a tee, which included ongoing communication about weather, the perfect place and time, and even diagrams and photos of exactly where I needed to stand and have my finance stand to capture a perfect candid shot of the actual proposal. Once we got into Seattle, the only thing I had to worry about was getting my words right.

I’m not one to necessarily enjoy being the subject of pictures or attention in general, but Rey and Reesa made us feel so comfortable and were so attentive that I truly enjoyed our photo shoot (even out in public in front of a number of complete strangers). Rey knows his craft very well and his product proves it. Our family cannot believe the pictures of our proposal aren’t staged and was the actual moments because of just how perfect they are, but that’s just Rey’s level of perfection.

If you have been entertaining the idea of a videographer for your big day, look no further for the right guy for the job. Reyallan from Nallayerstudios exceeded our expectations and we would love to share our experience with those who, just like us, felt like we wanted to be able to take in every moment of our big day and feel assured that it was all being captured. The production quality is top notch, within a few days we received our short highlight video that we were able to enjoy during our Honeymoon and were blown away!
