Rogers Family Foods — Local services in Auburn

Oddly last review I see on here was about the deli 6 months ago .. boy how it’s changed since then . There is no longer Facebook updates like 6 months ago , Tuesday is usually Chinese, so I drive out of my way to go there for lunch and no Chinese, just sloppy joes that wasn’t very good btw . I ask what’s the deal and I was told they are not doing Chinese and don’t know when or if they are doing it again . So I go the following Wednesday at about 12:15 and there is no food in the hot deli area at all and a sign that says back at 11:00am. I look down and in the cold deli area and see cold egg rolls . So I get some other items and I ask the cashier if they did Chinese yesterday and she said yes ! I didn’t ask why they were not open today because I was already mad they were closed going there expecting something hot for lunch and now a week after the worker made it sound like China was basically done going forward they had it the day before . Sad ,but I wont go back , I drive into town to go there thinking I’m supporting a local business but I’m not playing a guessing game what they are having today or if they are even open now apparently? Maybe when they start updating the facebook page again ill consider it but not until then , the one lady who used to work there was great at letting people know what they had or when they ran out , now I see as many as 4 people working in there and they can’t seem to handle what she did...

I would give it a full 5 stars if the lady who was rude to us was demoted back to a clerk. My daughter and I used to go here quite often. We never complained about the prices because if the owners are the family I think they are they support lots of charities, especially for veterans. One lady who gave us a fake name got mad at me because my card had problems scanning and asked for another which I did not have. I recommended trying a verbal authorization and she freaked out. I said you know what its sad that we never complain about the prices like others but you wont try to figure this card issue out. She yelled she is calling someone so I said never mind don't call anyone we will go and wont return. We don't want trouble. She is somewhat sarcastic and grumpy all the time I see her there. She is not a good customer builder, but everyone deserves to work. I will say she should not be a manager. I called back one day to see if someone else could let us return and she got the phone again and gave us a fake name and fake number for the owners. Like I said if this is the family I think it is your money is reinvested back in the community with those who need help. Spend your money here with a clean conscience. Unfortunately, we are...

I love this store!! I’m in the Auburn store a few times a week. Rachelle always greets you with a hello and a smile and everyone is always happy to help you. The owners make themselves visible and work right along side their employees. The best part is the small town service and being able to shop quickly unlike the big stores which takes hours then you stand in line another hour. I have never waited a long time in line here. If a lot of people are waiting they quickly open another lane even if it has to be by one if the owners. The store is always well stocked and their prices are very competitive. I have been shopping here for 38 years and I love my Auburn Food Center aka IGA. ...
