La Pizza — Restaurant in Auburn

The food is great, but it can be dirty at times. I have seen large stains left on the tables for days. I also do not appreciate that they put your straw in your drink for you bare handed. That isn't my main concern. There are very nice staff there, but there is an older lady who is very rude. My buddy was having a conversation and he said a controversial opinion to his friend to which he was threatened by her. She supposedly said she would take the paddle off the wall. I have also had bad experiences with her. I had to pay an extra dollar in change because i was short and I apologized for it. Instead of being understanding, she stared at me blankly as if she was mad? Another time I believed a lady was going to take my order so i was waiting patiently for her to finish with another customer. The older lady was trying to get my attention and rather than saying something like "Excuse me sir" she stared at me and yelled "Hello? Hello?". I do not want her to drag the other workers down. All the other staff are amazing. I hope to see...

updating to say: once again drove 30 minutes to this business because they were marked open on google and facebook, only to discover they were closed AGAIN with no sign or notice. this is the FIFTH time in the last month i have driven to auburn for their food, only to have the phone ring unanswered and the store to be locked up when they are marked as open. i would not recommend this pizza store to anyone due to their inconsistent business hours. grew up loving their breadsticks, and only go there for them. HOWEVER multiple times in the last two months, i have attempted to call and even go in person and there is nobody even in the store. i have attempted to alter their store hours to reflect that they are not open, and they always change it back. please at least have the courtesy to post a sign in the door or set up a voicemail to let customers know that your daily hours have altered. extremely frustrating from a customer...

The lady that welcomed us was very friendly. However, I don't understand how this place got 4.8 stars. Now we didn't order the breads sticks which everyone raved about. But the place itself is very unwelcoming and dirty. I had to ask if we were even allowed to eat inside. The tables were all over the place and not even lined up with seating. The chairs were all still stacked. The menu was odd. But we just knew we needed a quick, simple snack and ordered a small pepperoni and 2 sodas. The lady forgot we were even seated there as we waited to get our 1 small pizza. Now the price was amazing. It wasn't even $10 for pizza and sodas 3. But I wonder if it was just a frozen crust they used. It didn't seem all the way cooked through for me. The bathroom... the door knob, I did t even want to touch it, and it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. It makes no so ppl have rated it high. It's not...
