I located furniture that I LOVE on their site. I used the "Chat" option on 4/31 to see if it was available. I received a response on 5/1 confirming that the pieces were available and we discussed prices. All of this was in the text. I forwarded the texts to the sales person who responded to my request via email. He shared my texts and concerns with his manager and they DID NOT honor the prices I was quoted via the chat that is connected to their site. They claim to not know who the person was that responded to my request. I find this very unprofessional and they should ensure that the chat that is connected to their site is a legit chat. The only reason they get three stars is because it's not the salesperson fault. Matt was very professional. He does not own the company and he is not a manager. The manager and the owner should honor the prices I was quoted from their chat on their website. I placed the order for the furniture and I am praying that I actually get it because I am not 100% sure that everything is legit. I paid with American Express just in case I don't receive the furniture. I will update my review after I receive my furniture. Update 5/2: I received a call from Kristen from the store and she apologized about the mixup. She also stated that they resolved the chat issue. I was pleasantly surprised that along with the apology, the owner of the store is honoring the prices I was quoted. I am happy that they decided to do what was right. I honestly would have purchased the furniture for the full price, but I am so happy to get the furniture pieces for the price I was quoted. Read moreI gave 5 stars back when we first purchased a couch. At that time our experience seemed to be a good one. However, we have a much different opinion now. We first went to the main store to look for a new couch. We were told by the salesperson that some couches were no longer available and others would take several months to receive. They suggested we go to the outlet as they might have something we could get more quickly. Matt helped us and was very nice. We ended up ordering a custom couch on Dec 2, 2020. At that time we were told by the MANAGER that it would be 12-16 weeks. Usually it takes 12 weeks but that they had to tell all customers that it could take up to 16 weeks due to COVID. That was understandable. It has now been 32 weeks. The thing that bothers us the most is the lack of customer service. Their idea of “good “ customer service is to send an email telling us the couch has been delayed. After that date came and went, I called and spoke to the manager. She explained that COVID and the snow storm in Texas has further delayed delivery. The next time, I spoke with the general manager and was told that they email because it’s easier than trying to reach people by phone. Completely impersonal considering they have had all our money since Dec and we have been waiting this long. The last estimated delivery date they gave us has come and gone ( July 13 ) and we have yet to hear from them. I tried calling yesterday (July 15) and the outlet is closed until after their tent sale is over. We can be understanding about a lot of things but not their customer service. Read moreI have used Weinbergers Furniture many times in my life and love the quality and service they provide. Even though we now live out of town we prefer coming to Augusta Ga to Weinbergers shop for furniture. Recently my Husband and I called ahead asking about options for nice twin beds and matresses because we are adopting 2 children. We live an hour away in Lexington SC. I spoke with Matt Vowell and told him we didn’t have a confirmed date for getting the children and were building an additional bedroom but wanted to come meet with him. I asked him to remind me in a few weeks because I get busy and forget. Within 2 weeks he reminded me like I had asked him to and he also had sent me links to some of the best sites with quality furniture and the research he had done. We just happened to be in Augusta that day and were eating lunch after attending a funeral. Perfect timing on Matt’s part and we were so impressed he reached out to remind us. We went by and were very happy with his professionalism and assistance making the best choices. He wrote up our choices and we told him we would get back with him once we were ready to order. Within a week we had the permit and HOA approval on our bedroom addition and the call of when we were getting the 2 teen children. We proceeded to contact Matt Vowell and he was very efficient getting everything written up and we are waiting on our fabulous new furniture.
