Well, my wife and I recently did a bike ride on the Katy Trail, which runs right into Augusta. Upon checking into the B&B, we discovered we'd left most of our clean clothes at the Herman B&B the night before. So, I did what any good husband would do, and walked a few blocks to the only store in Augusta where I could find something nice for her to wear to dinner that night at Roots. Nestled in downtown Augusta, Mo, this boutique has a wonderful selection of upscale women’s clothing. The shop itself is located in an historical building that has been completed rehabbed and is just stunning. The pictures do not do it justice! The staff, and especially the manager Cyndi, are among the most accommodating and professional I have ever encountered. They make every customer feel welcome without being pushy or disingenuous. Made a special trip from St. Louis to shop only to find out the store was closed. I see now that this closure is posted on the website , but had failure to mention in the article or the grand opening media output.
