Hines Pool & Spa — Local services in Austin

I've used Hines Pool & Spa for over 13 years now. Yesterday Ray got me out of a bind with my pump making a growling noise. He got somebody out lickity split! Was able to clean out all the fall leaves, then pump impeller also. Now the pump is quiet as a mouse (relatively!).

They are an absolutely fantastic company and highly recommend them for all kinds of pool repairs and service. Over the years they've done the following for me when things wear out (new 300,000 BTU pool heater, new Pentair 2HP pool pump, new Pulsar Infinity chemical system, new pool lights, fix pool leak (yes, they do that, too!), fix Jandy pool control panel, upgrade PVC-pipe water valves, etc.). Ray & Joel at the front desk are just fantastic--just pop in anytime and your questions are all answered! They stay on top of the latest pool technology. For example, after discussing with Ray, I upgraded my chlorine tab dispenser tower to the new Pulsar Infinity tabs. No more over-stabilized pool, requiring expensive pool water drain & replace. Water stays amazingly crystal-clear, pool OVERALL MUCH EASIER to maintain!!! THANKS, GUYS...COULDN'T DO WITHOUT...

I am writing to rave about two particular employees at Hines Pool in Austin. Hines has serviced my parents’ pool for over a decade so I gave them a shot when I purchased a home with my first pool. It is an older pool with problems common with older pools (i.e, it needs lots of attention.)

My regular provider who cleans the pool and keeps an eye on potential issues that may arise in the future has been, and remains, invaluable. Her name is Melissa W. and she is always responsive, always punctual, and always goes above and beyond. Honestly, I would probably leave Hines and follow her if she joined another pool servicing company. She’s that good.

The other person I want to compliment is Dylan A. He is a wunderkind at fixing big and small issues. I felt bad asking him if it was possible to change some big picture things about the pool setup and, not only was his attitude positive and helpful, he got it done same day. You just don’t find these folks every day.

We had 6 pool companies bid, which were all good, My wife and I chose Hines and are very happy we did! Brett came out and told me how he could bring life back to our pool. Brett has been in the business for along time, very professional. A young man named Mike came out and prepped everything to get the pool ready.Mike is a very polite young man and an asset to Hines staff. Jennifer is in charge of renovations and was in constant contact with me about who, what, and where with the project, incredible. Matt answered ALL my questions, thanks Matt. The crew that took away the old plaster and the crew that did the new plaster came to work! They really took care of my property.
