Pups & Pals Pet Lounge - Oak Hill — Local services in Austin

I've been a regular customer about 2 years, M-F for daycare and a couple of weeks a year for boarding and EVERY SINGLE DAY my little dog has raced in excited to receive Love from the staff members. EVERY DAY I have received the warmest of vibes and excellent service at every single drop-off / pickup. The staff have always alerted me if there are any things they notice out of the ordinary and once when I was racing out of town but my boarding dog needed to go to the vet, they took her and handled everything for a small and reasonable fee. My dog has done some extended boarding here -- 10-14 days at stretch and I have TOTAL PEACE OF MIND because I know the great care they give her. This staff and place is exceptionally special. My dog likes no one outside of family ... so the Pups & Pals staff must be her family because she Loves them and all the dogs she plays with. I also love the big, viewable play yard...it's so fun to see all the dogs together, as well as the phenomenal, daily social media posts of pics and videos. They also make holidays fun with lobby decor and fun pics with the doggies. I also appreciate how the DeeDee the owner takes care of her staff and communicates with customers. I also appreciate that there is one customer at a time in the lobby -- sometimes it's a tiny bit of a wait in the car line -- but I don't mind, knowing they are giving the attention and service to whoever's in there because that is what they give me and my doggie. And that lobby is always clean and smells nice -- don't know how they do it with all those dogs! A very special place and staff. Big Love and Gratitude to...

I whole heartedly trust the amazing staff at P&P Oak Hill to take care of my dog, Molly. Molly, likes being at P&P doggie day care more than she likes being home! I have tried several other doggie day care places closer to where I live, and she will go the first day, but come the second day, she refuses to get out of the car, often making me late for work. Molly is very stubborn. She only allows P&P to cut her nails, I have tried, her vet has tried, with zero success. The staff at P&P are incredible! All of them! Honestly, I am not one to post reviews, but I feel compelled to share P&P with you because they are absolutely amazing! They are reliable, communicative, and mindful to the pack to make sure all dogs thrive there. They just do a great job. We are thankful for Pups & Pals! Our dogs have been clients of P&P for over 7 years, and every time we bring and pickup our pups, we know they’ve had the best time playing with their friends. The staff members are attentive, kind, and communicative about how each visit goes. I know they genuinely enjoy being with and caring for our pups, and the feeling we get from our time with them is that everyone knows and understands the personalities of each of the dogs and how to make their stay successful.

Dede (owner) does an awesome job raising the bar for the quality of care, including ensuring the facilities are upgraded and maintained to meet the highest standards. She’s also a strong communicator and ensures clients are aware of any pertinent information—i.e. holidays hours, highway construction, etc. No doubt the staff learns from and mirrors Dede’s effective client management skills.
