AMAZING MATERNITY PHOTO SHOOT: a few months before my husband and I were expecting our first baby, we decided to take a last minute “babymoon” to Avalon, NJ. We have been meaning to get some maternity photos done so we thought Avalon would be perfect, but could we find someone on such short notice? I didn’t have any connections in Avalon to recommend a photographer to me so I used google to find one in the area.

We were drawn to Avalon Art Photography because they specifically had maternity photos on their website plus some great reviews. We arrived on a rainy, Saturday morning and were leaving that Sunday evening. Jeannie was so wonderful about staying “on call” to do a photo shoot because she knew we were there for a short period of time. The weather broke Saturday evening and we were able to meet her on the beach for a session. Jeannie has so much experience with this area, we were able to take a great verity of photos next to the pier, in the water, with the sunset, etc.

We originally committed to the “digital 8 package” but once we saw the images, we were not able to narrow it down to ONLY 8! Jeannie was such a pleasure to work with and her photography is truly an art, we ended up purchasing 12 digital images from her…the photos were too amazing to not have during such a special moment in our lives. I currently live in Minnesota and am graduating this year. Having grown up near the Jersey shore, I knew that I definitely wanted to have my pictures taken on the beach. After doing some research, I stumbled upon Avalon Art Photography. I flipped through the website’s portfolio and really like some of the sample shots. I contacted Jeannie knowing that I had tight time constraints and worried that scheduling would be an issue. I was definitely mistaken and was thoroughly impressed with the flexibility and professionalism Jeannie exhibited. I had never really been photographed professionally before so I was a little nervous but Jeannie walked me through it and put me at ease. I ended up really enjoying the experience and the shots that Jeannie had taken were awesome! She’s really fantastic at what she does and is absolute joy to work with. WOW! We were sooo very pleased with Jeannie and Avalon Art Photography. She took pictures of my entire family (individually and in various family configurations) for our 50th Wedding Anniversary. The pictures on the beach were sooo stunning and she knew just what to do about the windy conditions.

The corker was that at the last minutes on the picture day the 4 year old got the throw ups so he and his father could not attend. We later took a picture of he and his dad on our camera and sent them to Jeannie who photo shopped them into the family picture. Couldn't have been better.
