I live in Cleveland and have been doing a few different liquidation auctions in the area, and this is by far the most disappointing.
1.) Upon pick up, I found out the item I bid on is expired, which means itâs not safe to use (other items I wouldnât care about, but this is not something that would be safe past expiration). Not disclosing an item is expired in a listing is just dishonest and unethical. Not all liquidations are expired, I had no reason to expect that from the item, and if I did, I wouldnât have ever bid on it. My familyâs safety isnât worth a discount?
2.) I traveled over 20 minutes to come here, and I thought I was going to be able to check out the store when I picked up, but the information on google isnât accurate. They were only open for auction pick up.
3.) The place is dark and drab, not very welcoming in any way, and very little indication that it even exists. Just seems like these people want to do the bare minimum and make the most money from it
4.) This is one of the few that does reserves on bidding, which means if you donât bid as high as theyâd like you to, they donât let you buy the item.
5.) Idk who is bidding on these items, but the prices you end up getting things for is super high in comparison to other liquidation auctions. Iâve seen many things go for a close to market price, which is a weird risk to take when items may be damaged or expired.
6.) They donât let you pay for your items. They just automatically collect payment when the auction ends, so unless youâre closely monitoring the auction, you wonât know exactly how much is coming out of your bank account until itâs already taken out.
Maybe all of the really fantastic liquidation auction shops in the area have spoiled me and given me high expectations, but why settle when you can get better deals with better...
Read moreSo I want to first off saying love the place great prices and truly a great and friendly crew they have. However the customers they have are ridiculous I went to the store this past Sunday because I saw multiple items I wanted to get so I thought hey get there early so I can be first in line so I can guarantee to get the items I want. But no thatâs not how it works. (I just want to state that I was the first person in line along with my family.) But these three older women stated theyâre the first 3 ever Sunday because they know Brian and they were just waiting in there car to stay warm because it was to cold for them to wait in line. I understand it was cold but there was about 5-8 other people standing outside in the cold, and for these women to just walk up and make it seem like they get favoritism because they know the owner. This was ridiculous and frustrating. Then to hear one of the employees talking to them asking if they were skipping the line again just shows me they know itâs a problem but havenât done anything about it. Hopefully you this issue can be...
Read morePretty interesting store. I'd seen all the cars there since they opened and meant to stop by and see what all the hubbub was. Seems they're buying items returned from online orders in bulk then selling them for super cheap. Whole tables filled with items for a low price each (today was 1.50). If you're looking for steals, make sure you get there early otherwise you're left sorting through what others passed on. I walked away with a bag of jolly ranchers and a headphone adapter for $3 and some change around noon so I was plenty happy. Will definitely be back to see what's there early in the morning. The owners were super kind and courteous and happy to answer any...
