
Was looking for a new shop to take my son for his haircut. Figured we’d give this place a try, since it’s literally right around the corner from where we live. I decided to make an appt online that fit our schedule, instead of having him go as a walk-in and have a long wait time. I booked a 5:30pm appt with Matt O, since he had plenty of availability for the day. When my son arrived for his cut, he was greeted and asked if he had an appt. He replied he had an appt with Matt, only to be told Matt wasn’t there. Apparently Matt had already left. Someone guessed he might’ve taken his lunch earlier??. The appt was at 5:30pm and he had availability until 6:30pm. I don’t buy that he took a late lunch so close to end of day. They told him to wait, and someone would try getting ahold of him. To make matters worse, this shop makes you pay in advance when booking your appt. So I paid Matt (with a tip), for a service he wasn’t even there to provide. Instead, he chose to flake on a new and potential regular client, knowing he had a 5:30pm appt scheduled. Meanwhile, my son is now standing in a shop who already took our money, with his barber nowhere to be found. Shoutout to *Johnny for taking on my son’s appt right away, so he wouldn’t have to wait any longer. He was extremely pleased with the cut! Johnny gets 5 stars. The shop gets the 1 star. And for the off chance Matt actually reads these reviews, you get Zero stars my, man. Super unprofessional to leave a customer who already booked and paid you for service, hanging. Why even offer appts and make customers pay in advance, when it’s 50/50 you won’t even be there? The owner should really reconsider the “pay in advance” policy if you have a barber(s) that aren’t completely reliable. Can’t imagine we’ll be back. But for the small chance we actually do,...
Read moreLiked this place until I got a cut with Eugene, I asked for a low fade and scissor trim up and I got bowl cut. I was in a hurry so when I got home and showered I realized it was no where near what I wanted. Text Eugene the next day to see if he wouldn’t mind shorten the top for me, a quick fix and he was bothered because he said he was booked. I understood and asked if another barber would just trim it real quick and he said they will charge me a full cut.. for fix ? less than 5min trim but I said alright would another day would work for him to fix my cut that he did and he was upset that I was texting him about it making him behind on his cuts which I understood and said alright, after a while I just decided this dude doesn’t have no courtesy for customers and I was being real coo about it. I let him know to forget about it and he got upset that I said that. Would not recommend this barber to nobody. Dmnd Kutz has some good barbers that get down but it’s not just the cut that counts it’s the experience and courtesy to the customer. Sadly but I won’t be going here no more. Which sucks but this dude ruined it for me.

Issac was the hair stylist and he was terrible. His hands were shaking the entire time and he had a really bad attitude. A customer at anytime should be able to voice their opinion without getting a sassy attitude in return. I knew I was in trouble when he cut my sideburns without asking me did I want to keep them or not, I asked why he did it and he replied "I don't have to cut your hair if you're going to be difficult."
Shops have to stop sending walk ins to their weakest link and make them aware of who has the most skills in the shop to the least... As soon as I walked in the shop the pointed me to Issac, not a good choice at all...
Reply to owner; deflecting due to past negative experiences i have had in the past with different establishments has absolutely nothing to do with the experience i had at your establishment. Let's be clear... This just shows a lack of accountability. The picture is posted with the review clearly fortified my statement and experience as TRUE.
